Work Wear for Women over 50: Cooking Up Your Own Combo
Happy Friday, all! Sometimes fashioning a work outfit is the same as throwing ingredients together to cook up a personal style. I rarely have pieces from just one place…though it does happen.
Today’s look included ingredients from Dillards, Chicos, Marshalls, a designer named Jana Kos, and Nordstrom.
The Eileen Fisher kimono jacket is from DILLARDS; the chic top and necklace were from a new collection at Chicos…see the links below: the skirt is a few years old and was designed by a talented woman JANA KOS; the purse is Adrienne Vittadinio from MARSHALLS, Halogen shoes were from NORDSTROM.
I wear suit jackets often, so I decided to wear the kimono style just to mix it up a bit… the result for me was a confident style.
Then this outfit took me to a fun business lunch…good company, excellent cuisine! Do you find you wear all of one brand, or tend to mix things up a bit?

Linking up with FUN FASHION FRIDAY…
So stylish — having been laid off from work almost 6 months ago and in semi-retirement I find very few times to get to dress up these days…so when I get to go somewhere I use it as a chance to pretty up…
I love the combo you've put together, Pam! You look like a polished professional with great taste. I like to mix it up most of time. Brands play so well together. Have a great day!
