Hit Your Style Sweet Spot: Favorite Fabrics for Women Over 50
Welcome to a fun collaboration with Jennifer of A Well Styled Life and Pam of over50feeling40. We desire for all of us… the fabulous women over 50 …to look and feel our best each and every day. After years of blogging for this audience, we have heard from so many of you about your discouragement and despondency when you look in the mirror every morning. But, we both know just how transformative style can be, and hope to encourage you right here each week. We want to see all of us empowered with strength, joy, and confidence.

For example, today I am wearing three fabrics I love:
The Pants…Eileen Fisher 56% Rayon, 38% Nylon, 6% Spandex
The Long Tunic…Eileen Fisher 100% silk
The Jacket…CHICOS also, rayon, nylon, and spandex
But, I confess to also loving leathers, knits, cotton,
wool…the fabrics must breathe, feel soft, and fit! You also may want to
read about what Eileen Fisher says on the topic of SUSTAINABLE FABRICS HERE. I always feel good when I wear
her clothing! But, I do have many favorite brands when it comes to
fabrics and wear them often here. Fabric plays a major role in my
purchasing decision.

Winter favorites are different from what I prefer in the warmer months, but I love cotton with stretch built in for both cold and warm temps. Cotton knits always work for me and I love knits that drape/flow. If I'm staying home and it's cold out, I'm in fleece jackets and leggings.
I just love that coat on you!! Leopard is certainly an awesome or not on you. I love all
The fabrics you love too!
Do you remember mohair sweaters? When I was a preteen, mohair sweaters were all the rage. I remember getting one for Christmas and loved its softness. I haven't seen mohair since then, but would love to try it one more time.
Love this look, and your table is so inviting! Thanks for linking up, xo
