My Life Over 50: Bruises Now Have a Friend
I am sent products regularly to test and, hopefully, blog about for you. I do think it is an important way for readers to find out what is on the market. Today’s product was sent to me and I set it aside because at that time I had no need for it…then the above happened. While moving somethings in the house, I smashed my hand and pretty quickily developed this nasy bruise.
So, that same day I began to use the DerMend Moisturizing Bruise Formula and in a couple of days the skin on my hand looked healthy and youthful. It treats the bruised area with ceramides, retinol, and arnica oil and helps to build a barrier of protection. Now, it doesn’t make the bruise go away…it treats the skin in the area so it it looks better than an ugly bruise. I am at that age where I am bruising more, so I expect to go through this tube pretty quickily. It does make your skin feel soft and healed. If you are interested, just check it out HERE.

Pam, I cannot believe the timing of this! I just whacked the top of my hand two days ago as I was heading out for a walk and immediately saw a little goose-egg AND bruise at the spot, in addition to it smarting like crazy! My poor husband had been waiting patiently for me to accompany him on a walk and I didn’t want to make him wait any longer so I threw a couple of ice cubes in a baggie and headed out the door. The ice did a remarkable job of getting the bump down but I still had a nasty looking bruise, exactly where yours is pictured above!!!!! So, trust me, I will be picking up some of this DerMend, cause I’ve seen my future….and it’s bruised~!!!!!!
I understand Deborah…the timing was good for me as well. Unfortunately, I am discovering bruises more often.

Happy to be the test lab, Karen. I have made some great discoverines doing this and I do hope it helps.
We have been using Arnica gel for the past 15 years now and always bring it with us on our travels.
