Hello again, ladies! Welcome to my new discovery…Fall Finds at Talbots Red Door Sale!
I stopped by our Talbots location in the Village at Stone Oak to check out the Talbots Red Door Sale.
However, I knew that I do not need any summer clothing…so I wondered if I could discover fall finds at the Talbots Red Door Sale and take advantage of sale prices.
I was so excited to discover fall finds in the Talbots Red Door Sale online and in store.
I like the Talbots Red Door Sale for some special fall pieces because I know how the fit and quality will be as compared to other early fall sales.

FALL FINDS AT TALBOTS RED DOOR SALE: JACKETS
This is what I faced when I walked into the store…a sea of spring and summer colors and styles in the Talbots Red Door Sale.
However, I was determined to see if I could locate fall items on clearance.
Now, allow me to explain, fall in Texas is warmer than many places, so I have no need of very heavy fall items and can wear some linen up until November.
However, there are some great selections still online for all of us…even beautiful wool garments
Just keep in mind that this is a very fluid sale and some of the items in my slideshows may have moved on…but there are some great pieces as I work on this.
Since I am looking to replace older fall with current quality items, this is a super sale for women like me.
My eye fell upon this double knit blazer that is a heavy knit and I just love it.
It is perfect for fall with my jeans for that current, polished look and double breasted style has been on trend all year.
It also will pair well with my warmer autumn garments…I like this as a different option to navy and as a transition piece through December.
It was on sale…with 40% off…another 5% off with my Talbots card…and a birthday savings….(one of the reasons I love having a July birthday!).

FALL FINDS AT TALBOTS RED DOOR SALE: CARDIGANS & SWEATERS
Another area to discover fall finds at the Talbots Red Door Sale would be in CARDIGANS.
I really like this cardigan for Texas fall weather in the Heritage Green color.
This is the LINEN GIRLFRIEND CARDIGAN…perfect for warmer fall climates.
I also like this indigo blue cardigan for a fall find.
It is the Flyaway Linen Blend Cardigan….so sorry that I had on a navy tee underneath it.
It is a great lightweight cardigan and at 40% off $59…a steal.

There are really cute sweaters in the Talbots Red Door Sale that I can see easily wearing into fall.
I envisioned this one at a soccer or football game with my jeans and athletic shoes.
Just click SWEATERS ON SALE…and make sure to look at the sweater tanks for wearing under jackets…so cute.

These shoes are a perfect fall find in the Talbots Red Door Sale.
Do not be deceived by the color name ….rattan…which is typically associated with spring and summer.
The JANE BOW LOAFERS are tweed with flecks of gold metallic. Would look so lovely with fall colors.

I purchased two scarves in fall colors: THE FRUITS & LEAVES OBLONG SCARF, and THE PAINTED FRUITS OBLONG SCARF.
They are replacing a few older scarves I recently passed along.

Of course, there are many beautiful items on sale that can be worn now.
I am surprised that the Talbots Red Door Sale has me excited for fall.
I am looking forward to adding these quality pieces to my fall wardrobe and taking out garments I am happy to remove. This is fun.

Im going to give some serious thought to the linen cardigan. While I have plenty, I was finding when the weather was cooler, I needed a bit of a refresh.
It is a good one, Kim. I am excited to have some quality fall options to replace some that are not so quality!
I did the same thing … combed the sale racks with fall in mind. It was so fun! I got a beautiful cream and rattan striped, cable knit cardigan with buttons and a collar, an orange and cream striped heavy tee with a lace detail at the neck, and that girlfriend cardigan, also in heritage green. I found a pair of their classic straight jeans too, for under $40 recently. I love that navy striped sweater you tried on. I didn’t buy it because I have a few already (raising hand as a stripe lover here), but I thought the collar was a great update from the usual Breton. That striped sweater, if paired with athletic pants like Athleta’s, is pretty much my fall style most days. I would also put in a vote for a denim skirt. You can wear it year round, with or without tights, depending on the weather.
It was fun to shop the sale for fall…thanks for sharing how you did it as well!
I bought that heritage green sweater last month on sale. We all love our linen sweaters!
I love the blazer look on you! I wear light weight cardigans for a.c. and doctor appointments. Blazers would be out of place here in rural Colorado. I got a white linen cardigan last summer and find it to be my favorite 3rd layer. It is hot dry and windy here.
A linen sweater will serve me a long time down here and that heritage green is beautiful! Thanks Deborah!
