Holiday Party Attire for Different Ages

holiday party attire

Happy Monday before Christmas, Ladies!  Today, I have holiday party attire for different ages from a recent party.

This holiday party attire was worn in a home, and some dressed very casual and some brought on the sparkle.

So, I thought I would show you my favorite looks from the holiday party attire last week.

I have to confess that I have enjoyed wearing sequins this year…perhaps more understated than some others.

Personally I hope for New Year’s to wear pajamas at home..but we will see.

Let’s begin the holiday party attire with my beautiful daughter.

HOLIDAY PARTY ATTIRE FOR DIFFERENT AGES: LOOKS 1 & 2

My daughter and her friend both look smashing in their holiday party attire.

They are both young moms and looked very modest and gorgeous for this evening.

Jess (R) is wearing an ANN TAYLOR CROSSOVER HALTER JUMPSUIT.

The jumpsuit is on sale and I like that she can wear it for different occasions all year long.

Kelsey wore the cutest nutcracker cardigan which her husband purchased in a boutique.

But, good news, I found it online at Amazon.

It is the BOW TIE CARDIGAN SWEATER.

The star of Olivia’s holiday party attire was a red sequined cardigan.

I did not ask her where she found it, but, again, I found one on Amazon.

This jacket also comes in many colors.

Check out the THANKPEARL WOMEN’S SEQUIN JACKET LONG SLEEVE.

She looked so lovely with her red sparkles and red lipstick.

I knew immediately the brand of this holiday party attire dress… and this joyful young lady was amazed that I did.

I like the Tuckernuck brand and own three of their tops…and Hannah owns three colors of this dress she loves it so much.

This is the Tuckernuck Holly Tinsel Tweed Short Sleeve Jackie Dress.

A chic look for a young woman.

HOLIDAY PARTY ATTIRE FOR DIFFERENT AGES: MY LOOK

holiday party attire

My holiday party attire was something I have worn often this holiday season.

Though I did add a blast from the past…my snake print Soft Surroundings leggings.  The snake print is light but there.

I have showed you earlier these three pieces:

Chico’s Sequin Placket Ruana

Chico’s Caviar Trim V-Neck Pullover

 Mixed Metal Links Bib Necklace

I am so glad I purchased them.  I will wear the pullover and the necklace with winter outfits.

The party was lovely and so much fun.

I was taken with the gold tree decor and tried to find something like it online, but failed.

They looked really stunning with the evergreen branches.

The food was also fabulous.

  1. What happy faces celebrating Christmas! Love the red dress on the younger woman and your beautiful daughter’s jumpsuit too. You looked amazing as always, Pam!
No holiday parties this year until Christmas Eve at my son’s home! I’m wearing an older Talbots beaded sweater with 3/4 sleeves (silvery grey) with wide leg silky pants. Hope I don’t freeze as it’s in single digits here this morning!

  2. Merry Christmas, Pamela! I loved this newsletter because you showed real people wearing special holiday outfits. Thank you to all of your “models” for being part of the fashion conversation. I would love it if you could include more people of varying sizes/shapes modeling clothing. Happy New Year to you and your family and all the best in 2025!

  3. Pam, you looked stunning! I’m ordering the items you wore because I love them so much! Merry Christmas 🎄

  4. I’ve been to a couple of holiday parties, both pretty casual. I wore black jeans and a green sweater to one, with Christmas jewelry, and black jeans, a leopard cardigan, and a red tee with black, heeled boots to the other. I felt I veered a little fancier than some in the latter look, especially because I wore red lipstick, but I still felt appropriate and festive. Your daughter is beautiful and the home looked spectacular and so delightfully holiday. I’ll just say it one more time … I love you in green!

  5. Merry Christmas, Karen! I am so glad I have both of these Chico’s pieces and I will wear the long sleeved top into spring. Thank you for shopping with my links!

  6. You looked lovely in your green sparkle! Your daughter is beautiful! Her jumpsuit is very pretty on her and practical as she can wear it nearly year round. All of your models looked great! The tables were gorgeous! It looks like a good time was held by all. I’m wearing my Chicos dark green velveteen jeans and matching green knit top with gold jewelry and black Skechers Swede booties. It is just us and maybe a friend of mine that might come over in the afternoon. So nothing fancy, just comfortable for the day. Merry Christmas Pamela to you and your family. Have a joyous time with your grandsons. See you on the blog after the holiday.

  7. Lovely outfits on all the attendees. Your daughter is beautiful and has such a great smile. Your green outfit is smashing. The table is so beautiful and the food looks delicious. I can tell by the smiles that a good time was had by all. My only event this season was our quilt guild luncheon which is an elevated casual event. Since it was unseasonably warm that day, nearly 80, I didn’t wear the outfit I planned. l wound up wearing a light weight gold Talbot’s sweater with a little shimmer and a pair of brown velveteen jean I bought several years ago at J Jill. Leopard loafers and a very special necklace that always get noticed. Merry Christmas.

  8. Thanks Kathie! I love the look of velveteen jeans but do not own any. That would be a great item to scope out in sales after the holidays. Your outfit sounds lovely no matter the weather.

  9. Thanks for letting us see a glimpse of the party, outfits, settings, and food. It appears to have been a special evening.
I have been to several parties, all quite casual, but pretty sweaters were worn.
    Merry Christmas
