Winter sweaters from St. John’s Bay at JC Penney
Happy Friday, friends! I hope you are ready to think about winter outfits without a holiday spin, so let’s look at WINTER SWEATERS FROM ST. JOHN’S BAY AT JC PENNEY.
St. John’s Bay is one of two brands at JC Penney that has impressed me….the other being Liz Claiborne.
They have impressed me with quality items that wash well and maintain shape well…and at times are incredibly affordable>
I have several layering pieces which are St. John’s Bay.
The majority of what they offer at JC Penney are all in several different color or print options, and in misses, plus and petite sizes.

At the prices they post, sometimes these go quickly. When I wrote this post earlier there were options for these selections, but the sales are good and move items quickly.

WINTER SWEATERS FROM ST. JOHN’S BAY AT JC PENNEY: WHAT I TRIED ON
I paired together a very nice winter sweater cardigan with a new arrival blouse which easily could be worn all year…even with a touch of bling on it.
This is the ST. JOHN’S BAY WOMEN’S LONG SLEEVE OPEN FRONT CARDIGAN in oregano and offered in seven colors.
It looks more expensive than $17!
The bling blouse is the ST.JOHN’S BAY WOMEN’S LONG SLEEVE EMBELLISHED BLOUSE.
I have always liked the casual look of wearing a hoodie winter sweater…though I never pull up the hood.
I also like the look with the hood outside of a jacket for winter.
This is the ST. JOHN’S BAY HOODED LONG SLEEVE PULLOVER SWEATER in American navy…it comes in four colors.

There were many winter sweaters in the St. John’s Bay department and though I did not try many on, I found several to show to you.
This design is much prettier in person than online.

The same winter sweater comes in the fun RUBY DOT option.
Showed you this one before…it is a very pretty sweater and comes in five very nice colors.
It is the ST.JOHN’S BAY WOMENS MOCK NECK LONG SLEEVE PULLOVER.
Winter sweaters can be very pricey.
For those of us with shorter winter seasons, it just makes good sense to consider St. John’s Bay winter sweaters at JC Penney.
Tis is the ST. JOHN’S BAY CREW NECK LONG SLEEVE PULLOVER SWEATER.
Another reason it makes sense to shop winter sweaters at JC Penney is to follow a trend.
This is a trend style with the ST. JOHN’S BAY WOMENS CREW NECK LONG SLEEVE HEARTS. PULLOVER.
I saw this sweater and it is cute.
Would be very cute under a jacket and this is a navy stripe.

These look like great bargains for some post-holiday winter wardrobe refreshers! I’m trying to be mindful that anything I buy I also have to pack and move in a few weeks, but I may have to get one or two of these. I’m not tired of my current sweater selection, as we are still having unseasonably warm temps in north Texas. I wore the Talbot’s Christmas tree sweater several times in the past few weeks, and one other favorite from JJill a time or two, but the rest of my sweaters are still waiting patiently for cooler weather. We need some colder weather soon – I just killed a huge mosquito in the house, and they should be long-gone by now.
I’m hoping you will keep us up to date on shopping options as the post-holiday buys start popping up. I’m eyeing several pieces from Talbot’s new catalog, so hoping they will do a coupon or something soon! If you haven’t seen this new collection, there are some great autumn palette options including olive and a great tan color. Those have become year-round colors for me in the past few years, but they are showing them with brighter colors like coral that will be good for spring.
I have seen the new Talbots collection and there are some great pieces. I will make some picks for you soon. The weather is difficult right now…cold one day and hot the next. I know you experienced storms yesterday.

The blue sweater is cute and looks good on you. Looks like a nice weight for a mild climate. I checked out the sweaters and saw a couple I really liked but the size & colors I wanted are already sold out so I think they are selling fast at these prices.

The sweater with the hood is cute! When checked the close up view online, it looks like it might need some type of top underneath. Would this sweater work well in spring with a tank top? May I ask what size you are wearing? We have a similar body shape.
I have the cable knit cardigan in rich dark brown and navy blue! I love JCP for sweaters, flannel pajamas and flannel shirts! Kohls is another cost effective option for those of us with tighter budgets. I have several pairs of straight leg and boot cut jeans that are Liz Claiborne Sara model. They fit, are well made and last at a reasonable price. Our weather has been a roller coaster as well. But we are expecting a cold from on New Year’s Eve with temperatures in the teens. Good evening for sweaters! I think it may come southeast towards you Texas residents. Our high country in getting snow in feet which is good for those of us that ski but more importantly, for the water.
Thanks to Sonja for the Talbot’s tip! I just used Pam’s link to buy a dress at 30% off, two full price tops and two sale sweater dresses at 40% off. Lots of good options for all color palettes, especially if you love shades of blue. That seemed to be the dominant color theme in this new catalog, but again, some really good options for us “autumns,” as well.
The JCP brands you mentioned, St. John’s Bay & Liz Clairborne, are my favorites, too.
