2025 Trending Color: Sand
Happy Tuesday, ladies! Today, let’s look at a 2025 Trending Color: Sand.
When I saw this 2025 trending color: sand, I was intrigued by the different shades of sand…from light beige shades to softer browns.
Most of us know that sand has it’s light and dark moments….depending on the beach. In Texas, a couple of beaches have touches of light grey.
I was particularly drawn to this 2025 trending color because I know many of you wear warmer palettes and are looking for neutral options to white.
The names of colors I have discovered go from toasted coconut to champagne to barley.B
Because sand is a trending color, there are many places to find the options, but today I do have a few highlights for you to see.

For all your shopping, please use the links on my SHOPPING PAGE…thank you, thank you to all who shop this way.
Ahhh. Those are all my ‘whites’! Many thanks, Pam. Such a lovely variety. Have a nice day.
I too have noticed the abundance of off whites/sands this season, often worn as a complete outfit. I’ve noticed the same in home decor, where that pinkish beige and light taupe is clearly having a resurgence. Obviously, such a neutral color goes well with the textured styles we are seeing, and those are my faves among your style highlights today. Interestingly, my son and d-i-l just bought a new house, and we were scoping out some resources in their new town for their busy family. At the lighting gallery, soooo many of the chandeliers and lighting featured rattan, wicker, and wood. The designer said everything is moving to a very earthy vibe. I have to think this is not just a trend, but an overall style shift, given its prominence in both fashion and home decor.
Thank you for this post! As someone with “light spring” coloring, I’ve found tops in this color hard to find.
Thanks for the many choices for “sand”. I am a summer, but I would wear the “sand” color in slacks, or shorts.
Thanks for sharing about the home decor, Linda. I personally love an earthy vibe. I will keep an eye on this as we go forward.
You as well, Deborah. I knew you were one who would want to know about these colors!
I know…I am also thrilled to see so many options right now. Thanks Susan.
You are so welcome and these colors are also abundant in bottoms!
With my warm palette I’m thrilled to have a good neutral available in so many styles. I ordered the Chico’s Embroidered Pointelle top. The color is lovely. It runs large. I’m a .5 at Chico’s which they don’t offer in knits. I ordered the size 1 and it was huge. The embroidery is very pretty but the neckline seemed higher than it looks on the model. The top is rather heavy and requires a tank underneath. Sadly did not work for me but it is pretty. The J Jill eyelet blazer will be delivered later today. I have better luck there with sizes and will report. I have purchased a number of J Jill tops in their “barley” color and think the color is a good neutral. Never had a chance to comment yesterday, Pam. I think what you did was brave & smart. Addie’s looks like a place where one would meet fun and interesting women.
I am also going to try the blazer, Kathie…I cannot wait for it to deliver. Yes, Addie’s is the perfect place for me to meet fun interesting women. I am so glad I reached out!
I too love these neutrals and true what you say about actual sand—so many shades! Thank you for sharing Pam. I do hope your healing is coming along just fine!
It is, Paulette. Thank you…the rib often reminds me it is there but sooo much better!
Like DeborahLM, I am elated to see “my” whites turning up this summer. We must have similar “autumn” coloring. The season seems to call for lighter colors, especially in our Texas heat, but true white washes me out so badly. Thanks for this roundup of flattering options!
You are so welcome!
Lovely options for you warm palette ladies. I was happy to see the Jjill crochet trim tee & the eyelet blazer in black. I might be interested in sand toned pants or shorts as it would pair well with my cool toned tops.
I wear these colors in linen blends on the bottom. They make a great comfortable neutral. The cool tones look best on me but as my skin tends to warm a little in summer, I can wear these colors whiter ones. I wear pale blue a lot with them and today I’m in a wide pink vertical striped gauze top from Old Navy. I’m wear pink shorts that I got years ago from JCP. They match! My white Traveler clogs arrived from Easy Spirit shoes! They have a mesh style toe so I hope they are cool to wear. I wear a lot of white or natural fox linen bottoms in summer. It is cotton gauze and linen blends for the next five months!
Pam,
Your blog continues to amaze me as it gets better and personal. The last weeks have been so useful and thought provoking. I honor your strength of character. I too had a bad fall recently and smacked my face on concrete. Luckily nothing was broken but my husband said if we went out together, he would be arrested for wife abuse. Ha! Blessings to you and yours.
Whoops. I meant to say the color oatmeal just slightly darker than barley. Pam, I can send you a photo of oatmeal & barley together to show if you’d like. Sorry.
I would love that Kathie..,just email it!
Linda, I am so sorry. Since I had a black eye and blood running down from a cut in my eyebrow I know exactly how you feel. Take care.
Hi Pam,
I’m not sure I’ve ever commented here before but I’ve been reading for years! First, I want to say I was very impressed by yesterday’s post, I am wishing I could shop at Addies with you! What a lovely place that looks like. Very clever idea for meeting other women. Then today, so great. I really don’t feel good in white and those soft tones are beautiful. I picked up a crocheted t-shirt from Jjill in barley recently and I just love it. It’s so nice to see warm but light colors this year.
Dale in Vermont
So glad you joined in, Dale. That barley color is great! I hope we hear from you again.
