Street Style 2025 – Milan

Street Style

Happy Thursday, friends.  Welcome to today’s post…Street Style 2025 – Milan.

Street Style 2025 in Milan is featured below in a video that is 3 weeks old and takes us shopping for summer 2025 in Milan.

You already know that I love street style and I found inspiration in this video on actual women and in fashion displays.

A unique style I saw was a shirtdress with an open shirtdress on top of it as a topper…and I liked the way it looked….that was on a display.

I also saw a red & white blazer over light blue denim that was definitely Pamela-style on a woman…from the back.

The most encouraging for me was to see far more women wearing sneakers than sandals in this street style video capture….and the video showed some gorgeous handbags.

Please look over ITALIAN STREET STYLE SHOPPING SUMMER 2025 in Milan.

And then share with us your observations…..

Actual street style is so much more fun than AI videos.

I know today is short, but I was out most of yesterday and I will share that with you tomorrow…it was my first day in two weeks to put on a bra and makeup…Woo Hoo!

Now, what were your observations on street style….

KEEP SMILING!!

  1. Good morning Pam, great video to have with morning coffee before getting ready for work. I too am happy with sneakers/closed shoes over sandals on many of the women and men.
Just my observation, I noticed smaller handbags on women and less scarves and sun hats on the people in the street, slightly more on the displays. I liked the fuller longer dresses that women were wearing, many with flowery prints. Check out the footwork of the young man on the skateboard around 22.37 minutes. I guess I never really looked at how skateboarders maneuver their feet. Actually it made me realize that I need to work on flexibility. 😊 Have a great day.

  2. I did check out the skateboarder…very impressive. I also noticed how nice the handbags are. Thanks Betty. Happy Thursday!

  3. And most are walking tall, standing straight, makes such a difference in how your clothes look. A lot are very tailored- even though they may look flowy, they fit. And they are not all hunched over looking at phones! Milan is very industrial and the fashion center of Italy. A little different vibe there and you would want to dress up a bit, not the usual tshirt and jeans..

  4. I love this observation, Susan…what great points for the rest of us to remember. Thank you!

  5. This was such a nice (relaxing) video. There were a couple of outfits that resonated with me. I was trying to figure out the jeans ratio… maybe about 1/3 ? And, no graphic tees save for one (which may have been an American tourist, ha!). All outfits seemed intentional, and I’d take a fluffy dog as an accessory any day!

  6. So happy to hear you were out & about yesterday. I enjoyed the video. I noticed a lot of wide flowing pants on women which contrasted with the very slim ankle pants on many men. Skirts were either very long or, on the young, very short. Also noticed the smaller handbags and an absence of big scarves as Betty mentioned. There were a lot of formal gowns in the window displays in the first part of the video. Later the styles shown in the windows were more casual and I saw a lot of brown, tan, cream, etc. Of course I look for those colors along with orange which I also saw often. And the red & white blazer! Pam, I had a linen blazer almost identical to that 27 years ago. I wore it out to dinner on my 50th birthday. White with large red poppies here and there. I loved the print so much I also bought a midi skirt in the same pattern, the poppies all toward the hemline. Oh, I wish I still had both even though white is not good color for me. Actually the one in the video looked more ivory than white. I hope to see that style again. Thanks for this. Street scenes are interesting. I don’t watch the AI videos.

  7. very interesting thank you for sharing. I noticed that almost all of the pants on the women were full length, very interesting and not similar to what you would see in the US> I personally prefer full length so was nice to see so many and the varying different tops that were worn with them and also interesting for me to note the abundance of blazers on the women as well. thanks for sharing.

  8. Thank you for sharing this video. I immediately noticed how much more put together everyone appeared, and I don’t think I saw any gym clothes as outfits. I loved the lengths of the pants on the women and chuckled at how many of the men were wearing shorter lengths. Many people also had layering of some kind, which I love. And, I saw multiple styles of tucked shirts. I adore the handbag at 6:08. I went back to rewatch to see if I could catch the brand.

  9. There are so many pieces from my past I wish I had kept…but, no use crying over spilt milk…as they say down here. But I find that many of my outfits in my 50s were pieces I loved.

  10. I noticed that as well, Natalie about blazers. And they remain at the top of my favorites in my own wardrobe.

  11. Now I am curious about the handbag…will watch again. Thanks Jennifer.

  12. I noticed a great deal of white and neutrals too. Very cool! I’m actually seeing a lot of white and ivory and pale beige/ grey in our stores too!
Yes I too noticed sneakers rather than sandals, and I wonder if the women in Milan just prefer their foot covered ( heels and sneakers)maybe? I enjoyed the video!

  14. To me, the Milan style seems to be much more tailored & classic than Paris. There were lots of blazers paired with jeans & simple shirts or tees. Many of the bags on displayed were structured, & as you noted, lots of sneakers. While the stores featured many fashion forward items, the shoppers themselves were wearing what I would call wearable items. I did chuckle about the man walking his dog in shorts, dark socks & sneakers. That is something you would definitely see here in many Midwest communities.

  15. Today our mobile dog groomer arrived in the middle of the video and my breakfast. I will have to watch again. I remember an EU person that stated, Americans always stand out because we over dress. We, not me, wear tees with signage and wear brands with big letter as if showing off. European women tend to dress well but simply in neutrals and no signage. So I watched for this and tourists did stand out. Fun video Pamela. I loved all of the over fifty couples walking holding hands. We do that too. Of course we are in our 80s and come from a different time.

  16. What I noticed most was only white dogs and lack of color in the clothing people were actually wearing. There was color on the mannequins, but little on people. Maybe that’s why I feel so tacky all the time!
