Happy Saturday, ladies. Today, we look over 2025 Fashion Trends: Loafers.
One of my favorite outfits is returning to the 2025 fashion trends as I look over what to expect for fall…and loafers are a major player in many of the outfits.
My favorite one styles oversized (boyfriend) blazers with denim (some with cuffs) and loafers…what these looks, we will probably return to this later on a Saturday.
But today is all about 2025 Fashion Trends: Loafers.
I love loafers for their polished, classic look, but also for their larger toe boxes and comfort In many styles.

2025 FASHION TRENDS: LOAFERS – NORDSTROM
Let’s begin our 2025 fashion trends today with a look at my picks from Nordstrom.
The loafers in today’s feature picture and these in the second picture are the same.
It is the WOMENS CLASSIC LOAFER by Tory Burch, and it comes in four colors.
Here is a lighter color in a Tory Burch loafer…and on sale.
This is the TORY BURCH ELEANOR LOAFER in a color called sand stone.
Versions of the VIONIC UPTOWN HYBRID PENNY LOAFER can be found in several retailers.
Nordstrom offers it in 13 colors and designs.
This one is the Cherry Jubilee Multi and is on sale.
Another Vionic loafer would be an excellent choice for your classic styles,
This is the VIONIC CORINNE LOAFER and it comes in three colors.
I love the look of this one, but it does have a smaller toe box…in case toe box is important to you like it is to me.
Finally, in our Nordstrom picks is a lighter loafer from Born.
It is the BORN FINLEY PENNY LOAFER in a color called natural leather, but it is also available in white.
2025 FASHION TRENDS: LOAFERS – DILLARD’S
I had to include this loafer from Dillard’s because I think it is gorgeous and unique.
This is the PIKOLINOS TENERIFE W8d LEATHER SLIP ON LOAFERS and is on three colors.
I am going to go to Dillard’s and try to find this one to try on…I like the look of it for jeans and blazers.
The COACH SCULPTED C LEATHER DRIVER LOAFERS comes in four colors.
It looks comfortable.
I like the tweed texture and gold embellishment of this loafer.
It is the KURT GEIGER LONDON Crystal Embellished Houndstooth Bow Detail Moccasin Loafers.
Very fashion forward for fall!

If you wear warm color palettes, I highly recommend gold footwear…I love mine and do wear gold loafers.

Prayers are sent to all the victims at Camp Mystic in Kerrville. Heartbreaking! The news reel showing the deep waters was horrifying!

Its hard to write any more today.
Was just looking at a Texas map to see where the flooding occurred, thinking of you in Abilene and your San Antonio family. It looks as if the flooding happened between your two homes. What a horrible situation, especially for that camp of children. Will certainly be praying.
As to the loafers we are looking at today, some look much more flexible and soft than others so those are the ones I’d be interested in trying. Years ago I wore loafers to work, but those were days when my feet were not as difficult to deal with as they are today. As much as I’d like to wear them, I don’t think they will stay on my difficult feet. However, I’m so tempted by your gold pair you wear, as well as several of these softer-looking styles. I realize I really need shoes that either tie on or strap on in order to not walk out of them. I’m so aware of stumbling these days and my unsteady gait that my shoe choices must be carefully chosen. Hope you and your family have a happy, relaxing weekend.
Putting in a vote for Sam Edelman Loraine bit loafers. They are classic, and I have walked miles in mine, even tho they have a high vamp and you need a shoehorn to get them on. Once on, they are fabulous.

Thank you for showing us some great loafer styles. I have mixed luck with Easy Spirit but I ordered the pewter loafers and am keeping my fingers crossed that they will fit.
We are praying for the missing ones in the flood, so very sad. A personal friend many years ago lost his family in a flood at a church campground.
Loafers, I really like them, fall, winter and spring are my go to shoes.

I’ve always been a loafer girl ever since my elementary years when we were required to wear cordovan Bass Weejuns. My finicky feet require a narrow toe box in a size 10; I envision a marathon shoe try-on session soon.
Praying for everyone affected by the flooding! I too checked a map to see how close it was to you and to the one other person I know in Texas.
I wanted to jump in here today, My neighbor across the street from us is missing. She is a mom and grandmother and owned a home on the river in Hunt Texas…she is one of the missing in this flood. My son and his wife know others whose children are missing…that was a very popular camp to send daughters in the summer. Please pray for rescue works and that the missing will be located and for the families.

The flooding in Texas and lives lost are heartbreaking. Still so many people missing. I live in New Braunfels and it is raining hard. I am safe because the flood waters are flowing into Canyon Lake. But the rain presents more danger.
Great post, Pam! Loafers are a staple in my wardrobe as I can no longer wear high heels. I have 17 pairs, including the Gucci Jordan loafers in black and brown which are so comfortable and elegant. I also have 7 pairs of the Sam Edelman Lorraine loafers in various colors, leopard and zebra print, and seasonal versions. These are comfortable right out of the box and perfect for travel. I have some platforms and a couple in suede. I wear loafers to work and for casual – they are a classic!
The flooding in Texas is horrifying and the lives lost are unimaginable. My heart goes out to the families that are struggling with this terrible loss. I’m sorry to hear about your neighbor. The children lost are the hardest for me. It is hard to think of shoes after this tragedy. The only loafers I might be able to wear are the Lifestrides and the Naturalizers. They come in a 6.5W. My feet are not very big but my arthritic toes require more room. Even some of the wides in Easy Spirit are too narrow for my painful feet. Celia, the boat shoes have a tie and you can snug them down for casual wear. I have a gold pair from ES and a navy and brown pair from Skechers. I stick with tie sneakers for extended walks. I’m a little unstable as well.
Though a Canadian, have been following the very sad News coverage about the flooding and extend my sincerest sympathy to the State of Texas.
As to the fashion post today, loafers are definitely a staple in my Spring and Fall wardrobe and on occasion during Summer. Great selection Pamela, and I do agree that the Pikolinos are gorgeous! -Brenda-
My heart goes out to all those who affected by this disaster. I will be praying for the victims, their families & the rescue workers.
I am a fan of loafers because most of them are kind to my arthritic feet. Most have a wide toe box, offer good support & can make a casual outfit a bit dressier. I do find that some of the driving mocs are somewhat less supportive. I am definitely on board for this trend.

Gosh, do I love a pair of good loafers. I have Rieker’s brown lug soles loafers with horse bits on them that tick my fall, winter, early spring menswear box. They look great with oversized blazers and jeans. I really need a sleeker, more slim and feminine pair for my other looks. It becomes harder to find shoes with my bunion companion, but my shoe store does a good job of stretching them for accommodation. I love these Saturday ‘trending’ posts.
