Sunday Reflections

Sunday Reflections

We have experienced a catastrophic weekend throughout our state.

Please pray for Texas and the families affected by the flooding.

I had no peace about sharing anything else today.

I did not know my neighbor well, but I would look at her beautiful home each morning and think what a wonderful woman she must be to keep such a lovely place.

She is officially gone now.  A mother and grandmother just like me and her family is so devastated to say good bye in this awful way.

I am hugging my own tighter today and so grateful to God to have them with me.  But, the emotions are mixed watching such horror in a place that I have always loved….the Texas Hill Country.

Thank you for understanding.

Bless you all…hug tighter…and give thanks for each day.

  11. Pam, what a day of unspeakable tragedy and mourningโ€ฆ I pray that the sweet souls
who perished are in Godโ€™s arms, and our Holy Spirit will comfort and guide those who are spared. We can never forget them, and we should learn so much about preventing such a devastating outcome from floods in the future. Let itโ€™s ask for God to hold us and lead us as we support the families affected in any way we can.
