Goodwill: Solving Christmas Challenges!
Recently, I headed over to Goodwill to see what cold weather treasurers might be hiding there, but I found different treasures this day.
These fun decorative china plates will make perfect small gifts for people like my hair stylists, nail salon, blogging contacts…people I would like to say in a special way I am thinking of them. This is so much better than a paper Christmas plate or box.
I love mismatched dishes! And selecting a group of various, vintage Christmas mugs provides a holiday/winter feel for a cold evening in need of hot chocolate or coffee or even wassail!
I also know some ladies who will use the mugs for candle holders.
Finally, I left with a couple of perfect additions to my own decorations…this precious tea kettle…
Then, the “Father Christmas” plate! I have three collections in my decorations…snowmen, vintage Santas from around the world, and evergreens.
GOODWILL just makes it all more fun, affordable, and a way to give back to the community! It is always a fun treasure hunt!

It's so much fun to browse vintage and thrift stores. And I love the ornament plates. Such fun for a holiday brunch or an après dinner get-together just for coffee and dessert.
(I adore this time of year. Magical, isn't it?)
That's a great attitude…I want to feel 25 always. smiles. I used to like the Goodwill stores, and now, it's distracting, I tend to want to try and own everything…haha.
