I’ll Be Smelling Like a Rose!

Before I tell you the news from our beautiful NEIMAN MARCUS at THE SHOPS OF LA CANTERA, I just have to share what is happening on the reinvention-of-Pam scene!  In the midst of all of this chaos at home, I am now going to fly to LA for three days this week for a photo shoot by a national product! (Can’t discuss specifics until the campaign breaks in a couple of months)

This is so surreal…exciting…frightening…all at the same time.  Because of my home situation, I have little time to prepare…it will literally be get on a plane with dark circles under eyes!  They wanted a real life woman…and they shall get one!

I am processing so much about this moment and will write more later and when I am allowed.  But, for now, I am thrilled that I will be traveling “smelling like a rose!”  Thanks to NM’s introduction of  À la rose By Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris.  This new fragrance for Spring 2015 has just been introduced and is 
wonderful.

Francis Kurkdjian was born in Paris and is revered as one of the world’s most talented perfumers.  He worked behind the scenes for many years creating fragrances for fashion houses such as YSL, Giorgio Armani, Versace, Dior, and Jean Paul Gaultier.  In 2009, he introduced his own fragrances.  À la rose is inspired by his hometown, The City of Light, and is a declaration of love for women….(Don’t you just love that!)

 The queen of flowers the rose has inspired those in the creative arts for centuries, trying to capture its aura, magic and secrets. The scent is a rosy duo in one fragrance, both floral and woody; it has the crisp tenderness of rose petals, a whimsical free-spirited style and an elegance that radiates femininity.
