Fashion Over 50: Summer Sunday Style Sweet Spot with Black & White

Just when we thought it could not get any hotter in San Antonio, the forecast came out to reveal even higher temps for this next week.  It is a bit of a challenge when you desire to look your very best.  My friend, Nancy, caught my attention this week with her fresh, stylish black & white ensemble….

Isn’t she cute…with that beautiful smile as an accessory, this completely works.  I love the statement black & white makes…chic, fresh, and confident.  I also like the contrast of the brown sandals and gold jewelry.  For some reason, I usually style summer B & W with silver, or a color in the jewelry.  But I like the gold very much.

Nancy is a busy wife, mother, grandmother, caregiver to her own  mother and professional woman.  She always dresses her best and sends a message of strength…”I have this handled!”

She said this top was a past Vince Camuto purchase.

It definitely hits her style sweet spot, and hopefully inspires more of you to consider new ways to style your black and white.  You also could check out some of the items I found for you below!

  3. Black & white is always the perfect combination no matter the season. I love Nancy's top. It looks cool & fresh.

  6. I love black and white. It's a great combo for any season and I have lots in my wardrobe. I like to accessorize with scarves and they add a pop of color to any black and white outfits. My two favorites colors to add are olive green and navy — still neutral but they work with black and white.
