There were some interesting articles today! Clearly the taupe paint article indicates overall we are headed into “warm” neutrals in decor, and I’m there for it, as I never stopped using them. The vegetarian casseroles all seem to feature a lot of cheese, but they could be modified to be healthier, and many of those look good. And the article on the Mackinac Island gardens took me right back to our trip there. Northern Michigan is one of my favorite places on earth.
Thanks for sharing, Linda. I have never been there, but it looks stunning! happy Wednesday!
LOVE the article on sustainable brands, which I am moving to. After reading about how damaging the fashion industry is on the environment, I’m really going to make this a priority. I’d never seen that stat before, and it’s an eye-opener. It’s more expensive, but most of us really don’t need the amount of clothing we’re buying, and who can argue with trying to make the planet better for our children? Eileen Fisher was on the list, so kudos to you to wearing this brand. I’ve picked one top and one pant: I just wish most of her clothes were not so shapeless. I’ve bought p.a.c.t clothing for my daughter. Love their concept and the ways the clothes look, but my daughter feels they don’t hold up the way they should. I’m going to give the Outland denim a try. And some of these brands have Petite sizing!!!
