Wow….. the lady who just retired at 90 after working 74 years at Dillards. What dedication to her employers and great service to the customers.Bravo!
Women like that inspire me so much…thanks Julie!
The two articles most interesting to me right now are the companion plants article, which reinforced a belief handed down to me by my aunt Ruth who had fabulous flower and vegetables gardens. Single handed Ruth kept everything growing wonderfully and weeded beautifully too. She instructed me as this article does on what to plant next to what in an effort to wean (?) off the wrong pests.
The other article of interest is the vegan-grain lunch bowls article. As a celiac sufferer give are the days that I can create a sandwich or English muffin lunch or even a bowl of soup. So many ingredients are wheat based today! Surprised me! So if I watch the particular grain I’m using (no farro, wheat germ barley nor couscous) I can create sine if these yummy bowls you’ve shown. Thank you!
You are welcome, Paulette. Glad Aunt Ruth would approve too!
I’m definitely going to try the grilled sweet potato slices! Yum!
