Today’s News for Women over 50
Happy Wednesday, ladies! Today, I have a few lifestyle headlines for you in Today’s News for Women over 50.
There are a few stories here which captured my attention…I want to make my own apple butter, and will need the breathing exercises when I fly next week.
That’s right…I am one who has anxiety over flying…just not a fan.
If I am with Mr. B, he holds my hand for take off and landing.
But, next week I will be on my own…so the breathing exercises came at the right time for me.
I know this is a short one…but I still believe there are articles here you may find of interest.
So, let’s get cozy…and read today’s news.

You can shop ANYTIME with the links under the page at the top called SHOPPING LINKS...and I will receive a small compensation for your shopping.
Also, if I have posted a link on a specific garment, and you use that link to go to the website of the brand, but look around and buy something else, I still get credit…though you do not buy what I am wearing.
Please ask any questions… this income helps keep me here, because even at age 70, Mr. B and I need additional income. He also works two jobs.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who shops this way.
Thanks for the Kips Bay Show House Dallas info. I plan on going!!!
Enjoy Kim!
Great articles, as always, Pam. I know it is time consuming. Thank you for continuing with the news. I was happy to see Portlsnd, Maine a good place to retire. I live 20 minutes south along the coast. By the way. I went to Talbots yesterday. That textured jacket you featured was a beauty, but it was whiter than I expected. The lining was actually more of an ivory. Lots of black and white, but also a nice array of autumn colors. Still thinking!
Pamela, great articles today. The breathing exercises are particularly helpful, and they do work.. Also, I’m breaking out the grey jeans that were in the “I need to wait and see” pile. Enjoy the Wednesday news,
I was so excited after hearing from an employee that several readers went to one of our local Talbots this week after seeing my post. The majority wanted to buy those flair jeans. Glad you could stop by Deborah.
Thanks Nancy…you as well.
Love gray jeans, and the cool Dianne Keaton biker boots … but with 3 fractures in my ankle, I’ve chosen to have surgery. This means living in soft, wide leg jersey pants, sweats, etc. I’m going back through your posts to see what I can find. I do some of the breathing exercises already but am going to add to my daily routine. You’re the best for sharing your research. Thank you!
I’m going to reconsider my grey jeans now. I was about to put them in the donate bag because I haven’t worn them very often since focusing on my autumn colors. I’ll give them another season and see. The Glamour magazine article was good for a laugh. Every outfit they showed featured jeans pooled on the ground and reminded me of their long running “Dos and Don’t” photos. Most would have been “Don’t” back in the day. Two of the models even have their underwear showing. When did dressing like a slob become “glamorous” ? Obviously I haven’t looked at a fashion magazine in years. Your fashion sense is so much better.
You are too kind, Kathie. Thank you!
