Kohl’s new Christmas shopping experience
Happy Thursday, all! I have exciting news today, so join me to see Kohl’s new Christmas shopping experience.
I walked into the Kohl’s located in the Northwoods area of San Antonio, and was so excited to enter into a new Christmas shopping experience.
Kohl’s has brought Christmas from the back of the store to the front…all along all entries of the front of the store…and it is amazing.
The displays create an atmosphere of a free-standing Christmas shop and the new Christmas shopping experience had me smiling from ear to ear.
I could not wait to share it with you.
There is so much to see (I am not exaggerating) that I can only scratch the surface here. Even unique pieces…like the cute French macarons ornament.
Everything you would find for Christmas shopping is at Kohl’s…the Christmas village pieces, the decor, the clothing, the gift buying, wrapping, kitchen, hostessing items…you name it, you will find it.
So join me today as I take you to Kohl’s new Christmas shopping experience and hopefully give you the incentive you need to go shopping there as well.
KOHL’S NEW CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE: COMPLETE WITH THE UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS
I really believe that it is from all the Christmas movies that brought back the “ugly Christmas sweater” parties.
And this year Kohl’s is full of Christmas clothing fun…especially with the collection called CELEBRATE TOGETHER.
They even call these UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS on their website. (And with increased prices in thrift shops…I would go this route with ugly Christmas sweaters!)
The majority of what I will show you is very affordable! So, if you are going Christmas shopping for clothing that is fun, casual and a little quirky…you will find it here.
I am going to go through some of the pieces I tried on quickly…but there is much more if you click the link I just gave to you…there is a very cute VEST.
This first outfit features the LONG SLEEVE OPEN FRONT OH SNAP CHRISTMAS CARDIGAN; the GREEN SILVER SHINE V NECK CHRISTMAS T; and the WOMEN CELEBRATE TOGETHER HOLIDAY LEGGINGS IN BLACK TOLE.
This is the same cardigan with the same tee but in the SHINE TREES RED; and with the leggings in the pattern called BLACK VINTAGE.
I think my oldest granddaughter would like this one…she loves flamingoes.
This is the CELEBRATE TOGETHER MOCK NECK CHRISTMAS FLAMINGO SWEATER. It is perfect for one of those parties!
I know many ladies in Texas who would like this shiny olive camo sweater….they might want it on their personal Christmas shopping list.
This is the NINE WEST V NECK SHINE PULLOVER SWEATER.
Nine West has super sparkly as well. I would wear this…if I had someplace to wear it!
This is the WOMEN’S NINE WEST SEQUIN BLAZER.
But, this one was really pretty…and felt nice!
OK, perhaps you are not into crazy ugly Christmas sweaters.
You might prefer to go more Christmas cranberry than Christmas red.
This is the LAUREN CONRAD RIDING CAPE in maroon…it comes in four colors.
A nice lightweight cape.
And don’t forget the fun Christmas accessories.

KOHL’S NEW CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE: CHRISTMAS DECOR
There is so much Christmas decor at Kohl’s that when you go Christmas shopping, you must stop by.
I saw everything I love and many unique pieces I have not seen before.
The St. Nicholas Square Is my country Christmas decor aesthetic.
This piece is the ST. NICHOLAS SQUARE YULETIDE SNOWMAN JOY PLATTER (SMALL).
These are so much fun and would look great in a tree!
This is the St. Nicholas Square Large LED ORNAMENT PORCH DECOR and they come in several designs and colors.
There is a whole gingerbread display in the Kohl’s new Christmas shopping experience.
I am sensing that “gingerbread” is a trend decoration this year…I have seen it in other places, but at much higher prices.
This is the GINGERBREAD SNOWFLAKE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT.
KOHL’S NEW CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE: HOSTESS GIFTS
If you need to shop for hostess gifts with your Christmas shopping, then Kohl’s has you covered.
The little Joy Snowman platter above would be a great hostess gifts…of course, filled with goodies.

KOHL’S NEW CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE: FOR THE KIDS
I went into the sale at Kohl’s originally shopping for the six grandchildren and the surprise was a larger toy department…fully stocked.
I came out with so much…clothes and toys. And a smile for the amount I spent.
And I have always supported the books with stuffed animals for $5! Great for grandkids…or any kids!

I was not paid to do this post, and I know I have been hard on Kohl’s and they are finding their way.
That is why I had to acknowledge how brilliant a new Christmas shopping experience is…brilliant and it is well done.
Moving the merchandise to the front of the store and adding more merchandise in well curated displays makes a huge difference in Christmas shopping.
Plus it puts a smile on every shoppers face from the moment they enter the store.
I give them kudos for a great job and hope it will continue into 2024.

I have always done quite a bit of Christmas shopping at Kohl’s, but now I can’t wait to get to a local store in person to check out their new holiday setup! You found so many beautiful pieces for us to wear this season, from fun to fabulous. I already bought my best friend the Kohl’s llama Christmas sweater and she loved it. Now I need to check out that velvet blazer and some of those other elegant toppers. As always, thanks for braving the stores on our behalf!

Ah! Looks and sounds so right for the holidays! You look so happy trying on the sweaters and cape too! Can’t wait to see the toy and small children’s department!
It looks like someone had a great marketing idea to invigorate the store! I’ve been hard on our Kohl’s also, but ours is not well stocked or organized at all. I am always stunned by the appearance of the dressing rooms in your photos, so tidy and clean! Good for Kohl’s for coming up with this idea. If I was still buying toys I’d give it a look for sure. It looks like it would be a fun place to shop for someone who wanted to change out their serveware or change up their decor.
It is so well stocked, Karen…I got lost in the snow globes. Just looking it over was so much fun and being at the front of the store, it puts shoppers in such a great mood to go throughout the store. I think they are getting it back together…you might give yours another look soon.
The children’s and toy departments were also beefed up and extended. I found so much there for grandchildren…and wish we still had babies..such cute things! Thanks Paulette.

Looks like a fun experience! Although I have plenty of Christmas tops thanks to my late husband, I will have to check out that velvet blazer as it could be worn before & after the holidays. I am also in the market for some Christmas themed throw pillows & know that St. Nicholas Square is usually good quality.
They had many of the pillows, Becky and so cute.
Late to the party as usual, but this was fun to see. I wish stores would make beautiful Christmas sweaters as they once did (in the 1980’s). They were pricey, but so pretty, made with quality materials, real wool, pewter buttons, gorgeous patterns that were not at all ugly. Meanwhile it looks like it would be fun to have a look at Kohl’s. I find their quality a little hit or miss but have found some nice stuff there. Thanks for the look around, Pam.
