JCP Liz Claiborne coats

Happy Fashion Friday, everyone!  I want to show you how to Stay warm and chic in JCP Liz Claiborne coats.

While the cold will come and go where I am in South Texas, I know some of you face very cold winters.

Affordable quality is something you will find in JCP Liz Claiborne coats.  I am always with most of what I try at JCP.

On this day, I met a lovely lady standing at the door with me, and she said it is the prices that brings her back to JCP often…she said, “I can clothe my family here and stay in my budget.”

One more comment,  you would think I would learn after 14 years of blogging to carry clean wipes with me.

I keep running into mirrors in dressing rooms that need to be cleaned.

I apologize for the spots on this one…lately, I have been moving at a very rapid pace and do not think about it until I am in front of the mirror!

You can still see how nice the JCP Liz Claiborne coats are…so let’s get started…shall we?

See how to look your best when it is cold.

  1. I was in JCP recently looking for things for my mom. I did look through the coats while there, and noticed a disproportionate number of puffer coats, maybe because of our climate? I am always on the hunt for wool coats and currently need a midi-length one, but mid-weight won’t work. It has to work for this climate. It is very difficult to find a solid navy coat available to try on, in wool. The search continues! You did find some nice jackets and coats and the mid-weight would definitely work for mild weather. I sort of collect jackets and coats to avoid being bored with them as winter goes on….and on…! Where I live they generally go on deep discounts right after Christmas and that’s when I get serious about looking. This post reminded me to put this search on the calendar for next month!

  2. Happy Friday, Karen! Have fun with the search! I understand getting bored when a season goes on and on…

  3. I’m surprised those full length puffer coats are taking up real estate in a store in San Antonio! The ivory plaid is lovely. I agree, I think there is a lot of value at JCP. It’s helpful during weight loss to have some affordable options.

  4. I agree, Linda! My goal is to only show you the pieces that have quality behind them. JCP has better quality than many stores in the same price ranges.

  5. A lovely selection of coats. I especially like the first puffer coat as it has a waistline which is hard to find in a puffer. It looks super on you but realize you would have very few occasions to wear it.

  6. It’s so nice to see some coats in pretty colors. I like the lavender quilted jacket & the purple berry trench. They would be a welcome change as winter turns to spring. I am usually tired of the black & navy by then. Those sweaters have just the right amount of sparkle for me. I may have to add one of those to my wish list.

  7. There are so many different colors this year, Becky! Penney’s is pretty good about offering items in several colors!

  8. Hi Pamela, You’ve reminded me that two of my favorite lightweight coats from the past were Liz Claiborne from JCP. I had a little navy double breasted blazer in 2015 that went with everything, and later, a khaki double breasted cotton trench that always brought compliments. Both were just the right weight for Southern Calif. I just took a look at some you reviewed and I see there are many good reviews on several other styles as well. Time to order!

  9. Thank you for taking the time to post so many different options. I haven’t shopped at JCP in years. Thanks to this post I think I will stop and take a look. Hopefully the JCP store will still be at my local mall as many stores are disappearing.

P.S. Maybe you should forward this post to your local store manager to urge the cleaning team to do a more thorough job. That mirror was disgusting. 🤢

  10. It is amazing to me how many mirrors are dirty in stores. And I am often one of the first ones in on that day. They must not clean overnight. I just need to remember to carry wipes. So far, I always forget until I show up in a dressing room. Thanks for stopping by, Bobbie.
