Today's News

Since I gave a gift last week that brought on the smiles, I wanted to share it with you.

My seven year old granddaughter has been in dance class for five years, and has an annual date with her Daddy (my son) to the Nutcracker performance every year.

For her Christmas tree this year, I gifted her the NUTCRACKER FOLKLORE ORNAMENT SET from Magnolia.

I loved it…she loved it…her mom loved it (first words where did you get that).  They are beautiful and such great quality.

I make no money off of this, but just had to share with you.

Please let us know if there are comments or questions on Today’s News for Women over 50…I thought there might be some things to talk about here….now….

KEEP SMILING!!

I was encouraged to explain more about my SHOPPING LINKS page and how to use it.

I am an affiliate for many different brands and when you click on those brands and shop, then I receive a small commission.

This is such an important income for me and my family.

I have tried to include the brands most shopped by this audience, but sometimes I miss one of your favorites.

If you will tell me what you are shopping, then I can tell you if I am affiliate for them and give you that link…if it is not already on the page.

And remember to send your holiday recipes and decorations with pictures to over50feeling40@gmail.com.  Send to email and do not try to put in comments! YOU are the best.

  1. Enjoyed the warming soup recipes best of all- we need this! And by soup with lentils is our Team Favorite! Thank you Pam.
Hoping and praying you’re recovering well.
No snow yet in RI but the Midwest into parts of PA look bad! We are sunny and cold! Blue sky is gorgeous but wrapping up in layers. Hope it’s lovely where you live!

  2. Hi Paulette! Sitting here under a cozy blanket. Soups are one of my favorites right now! Happy Wednesday!

  3. So many great articles…they take me down many rabbit holes of investigation and enjoyable reading. Hope you are recovering well from your latest surgery.

  4. thank you, Celia. I believe my recovery is going well…slow and steady wins the race! Thank you!

  5. Dear Pam,
How are you feeling today? Thank you for this wonderful post! I loved the Nutcracker ornaments you gifted to your granddaughter, what a precious gift to treasure always. ❤️
I am enjoying my time under a cozy blanket perusing your well-picked articles. I had my (hopefully) last vein surgery on my legs Monday morning, and am still struggling with the pain. I am reminded of you, sweet lady, and I am praying for you as you are navigating through this first week after surgery. Thank you for your gift in the articles of joy that you gleaned from the Internet to share. I’d hug you in person and share some baked cookies if only I could.

  6. Oh my Linda…I will also pray for you and your vein surgery recovery. I hope the pain is not too great. Thank you for your sweet comment. I am so happy that I can provide some reading for you….and I will dream of those cookies!!

  7. Hi Pamela!
I will be very busy reading today’s post. Looks good so far! I needed some new soup recipes for the winter so I’m grateful for this. Also, I love fashion. Love love love it! Those are my favorite posts. Thank you for all the work you do. I hope your recovery is coming along nicely. Take care dear Pamela. 🤗

  8. Hi, Pam, hope you are doing well! I really admire your positivity. I graduated to an ankle brace on Monday and am hoping to get a cane soon. As Paulette, said, no snow as yet. I’m hoping it will hold off so I can walk outside before year-end. Love soups! I had to laugh at the coat fashion tips: if you missed it, check out the super-ugly styling of the denim jacket.
