Clara Sun Woo Designs: Your Travel Best Friend
Happy Monday, friends! Today, let’s discuss Clara Sun Woo Designs: Your Travel Best Friend.
I am certain that many of you (like Mr. B and Me) have a trip on the schedule already and maybe you are looking for a way to make things easier.
In the past year, I have shared Clara Sun Woo designs with you and I have also personally experienced how great this brand is for travel.
So, I wanted to revisit it at this crucial time of retail when some may actually be about to pack the suitcase….and as always, I have a savings code for you.
So, please join me today as I remind you why I really like Clara Sun Woo Designs for travel.
CLARA SUN WOO DESIGNS: WHY THEY MAKE SENSE
Mr. B & I have enjoyed the resorts in nearby Mexico, and have a new trip on the calendar.
When we travel, I just want to be comfortable and, of course, look my best.
Clara Sun Woo is like most retailers…at this time there are many pieces under the SALE tab…and they have a new CRUISE COLLECTION 2024.
The pictures I have for today, are primarily pieces which may be found on sale; such as this beautiful Long Sleeve Crossover Faux Wrap Top that I am wearing in this photo.
I know you have seen these Kick Front High Slit Pant often on this blog…such a great pant for any occasion and I wear them for a nice dinner outfit often.
They worked so well for our Alaskan cruise when I wanted to elevate my look for dinner.
On our cruise to Alaska, I really enjoyed having the comfortable casual yet stylish pieces from Clara Sun Woo with me.
I wore those designs more than anything I packed.
Clara Sun Woo designs roll up tight into the suitcase and pop out of the suitcase with NO WRINKLES at all.
This pant is the STRIPED ZEBRA PALAZZO PANT which is easy, breezy and perfect for a cruise.
This top is on sale as well….Loose Cut Hi-Low Splash Stroke…and it look great with anything navy on the bottom.
I have worn these Signature Pul-on Capri pants in navy with many different tops in my wardrobe….and, yes, they traveled with me.
Clara Sun Woo designs help to create foundation pieces and columns of color that a travel wardrobe can be built upon.
I love the navy travel pieces that I own. They call them Wrinkle Free Modern Basics.
Here I have on the Signature Modern Gaucho Pant in Navy. The navy top I have on appears to be sold out, but there are other options in sleeveless tops.
I also wear often these Signature Straight Leg Pants in olive.
They are currently sold out of the olive…but I also have them in white.
A great pant…rolls small into the suitcase…looks like this out of the suitcase.
This is also a top that I have enjoyed wearing. It is not on sale, but the sizes are selling out fast. This is the Loose Cut Side Tipped Top In Olive Paint Strokes.
Finally I cannot say enough about the Clara Sun Woo Liquid Leather….very comfortable and easy to wear.
This is a great way to look current with your style. These are the Liquid Leather Sheen Skinny Pocket Pant.
I wish I could link to the sweater…but it is sold out. I am so glad to have it in my wardrobe. I have worn it the most of the pieces in this outfit.
I feel comfortable in saying that if I wanted to roll up two pair of pants, and up to six tops that I could easily get them into a backpack with room to spare.
Clara Sun Woo Designs makes packing and traveling in style a breeze. I have my eye on several pieces in that cruise collection.
Now, if you will shop on the CLARA SUN WOO WEBSITE by clicking this link, then you can use the discount code PAM50 for 10% off.
Does anyone else already have a trip on the calendar…please share if you do…love to hear all the places you are going!
And I hope that dreaming of the places you will go will help you to…..

Happy Travels!
Any item that can roll up in a suitcase and be ready to wear on arrival is a gem. I wish there were more a variety of colors available in their pants. You were lucky to find the olive. Have fun planning for your upcoming trip! Fingers crossed that you soon will be bootless!
I feel certain the olive will return. This is that time in between, but I did see some fun items in the new Cruise Collection. These clothes make travel so easy. Thanks Deborah.
Great outfits for travel. No travel plans for now, but really like clothes that look fresh all day long.
These do, Audrey…and they are also good for our daily lives!
I’m not doing any major travel until this summer, when we are going to Norway, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. I will definitely need new cruise clothes, because nothing from my old life fits. I’ve never cruised with Viking Ocean, so if anyone has ideas on how little formality I can get away with, I’d love to know. I want to focus on pieces I can wear after the cruise. The split pants look great, but they are so long, and I think shortening them would ruin the line.
Oh, Linda – Norway is on my bucket list!! Currently, my best friend and I have decided to skip this year and instead go BIG with a summer 2025 trip to Portugal, Spain and Morocco! Meanwhile, now that my husband is doing so well, we are putting the finishing touches on our plans for a trip east: Niagara Falls, then south hitting various historical sites on our way to the D.C. area for all the Smithsonian museums, and tours of Washington and Jefferson’s homes.
I love the idea of no wrinkle clothing. I found Susan Graver on QVC. She has a fantastic product called liquid knit. Does not wrinkle, does not fade, it spot cleans with a little water ( I know this to be true because at my husband’s funeral I spilled white food on a dark green top. Stepped into the ladies room. Wiped the excess off with a paper towel. Then used a damp paper towel and removed what was left, within minutes you couldn’t even tell there had been a mishap.)
Her clothing is great for every day and great for traveling because it does not wrinkle. Roll it up in your bag, pull it out and put it on.
I know most folks donot even consider places like QVC or HSN, but I found the most fantastic jeans for older women on HSN – Diane Gilman. I still have three pair that I have had for years, but fit so well and still look so good.
I have worn those pants for several events at home. I love them but I am about 5’7 1/2.
Wow! Sounds fun, Connie!
Well, today I am representing Clara Sun Woo. And I know this line is perfect for travel. They are our sponsors today.
Beautiful clothes Pam! I retired this month and have several trips planned this year. With hubby, we are traveling to Oregon in the summer and Bermuda in the fall. With a travel group, I am visiting Death Valley National Park in the early spring and with a friend, Japan for two weeks in the late spring. So many adventures ahead!
Great outfits for travel !
We are actually heading your way (Texas) for the eclipse in April!
Linda LM – Viking doesn’t have any ‘formal’ nights. Their only requirement is no jeans, and men need to wear collared shirts in the restaurant and two specialty restaurants. In the World Cafe, dress is casual- crops, jeans etc are ok. You will love your time with Viking!
I bought a bunch of Clara Sun Woo pieces when you featured this brand last year. For some reason I felt like I needed a “travel wardrobe,” even though at the time I was still caring for my mother and couldn’t travel across the county line, much less farther afield. I loved their dresses but they weren’t long enough for me. Since I’m a fan of more classic, tailored clothing, I was uncomfortable with the soft, silky fabrics and loose styles this brand features, as they felt like pajamas to me. (That’s a good thing for those seeking comfy travel wear!) I ended up keeping one pair of palazzo-type pants that made a dressy evening outfit with a top I already owned. I know if I have to travel for a dressy event in the future I’ll be glad to have them, and they definitely do roll up well without wrinkling. Thank you for continuing to expose us to brands that would otherwise be unknown to me. Although this one wasn’t my personal favorite, I know many of your readers will enjoy wearing these styles. I’ll be traveling to Nashville in March and October of this year to coordinate a wedding for a musician friend, and also to Charleston, SC for my nephew’s graduation in June. So excited to be going places for the first time in over a decade!
Pam, sometime soon could you talk about how you are doing on your Forever Strong program. I listen to Dr. Lyon’s podcast every day. She starts by saying, “I believe a healthy world is based on transparent conversation.” And she follows through on that. Most of her guests are interested in protein and weight training, but there are differences of opinion within that and she listens respectfully to those opinions. I have been around the military my whole life and am pretty stoic and gung-ho. Still, Dr. Lyon and her guests are motivating me to tweak my approach to things.
So sounds wonderful, Lisa!
They really are! Thanks!
Lots of people are, Shirley! Let me know if you need anything.
Now, I am interested too! Thanks so much Carolyn!
They never felt like pjs to me but they are super comfy…and not bulky to pack like many things are.
I would be happy to, Linlee. I just can’t go full in until I have my foot back and have been cleared to return rn to weight training. I need to check out the podcast. Thank you for mentioning it!
We no longer travel but soft clothing is a favorite of mine for just daily wear. You looked great in all of the pieces you wore in the pictures. The soft drape is very flattering on you. I like this clothing line very much.
All of the selections look lovely on you. How do find the sizing? I have never purchased from this brand and was wondering about sizing, length of pants etc. This brand sounds wonderful for travel.
All of the information is on their website Sherry. I am a size 16 so in Chico’s language that is a size 3.
So sorry Sherry…I thought you were asking about another brand! For Clara Sun Woo, I often size up to get the fit I want. These style in the pictures are XL
Pamela, just wanted to note that the shape of the wrap top is incredibly flattering on you – it really whittles your waist! Wish it came in more Autumnally flattering shades…
Thanks so much, Zaeobi. I do like the design of that blouse!
