I am really enjoying this ZENERGY UPF BUNGEE DRESS…the fabric is so cool and comfy to wear. It also doesn’t wrinkle…at all.
Because I like it so much, I have taken advantage of Chico’s big sale and ordered the same dress in the Madeira Red color.
I always get compliments when I wear Chico’s summer red blends, so I chose this type of color again to order.
I also saw the one in the color Purple Nightshade and it is a lovely color.
I wore this outfit to dinner last night…including the sneakers…so comfy and cool.
This is one of the Chico’s linen popover dresses that I have owned for four years.
I am showing it to you so you see how well these dresses last…I cannot count the number of times I have worn it as cool summer outfits…washed, hung dry and worn again.
The color is still vibrant.

I was asked to make an appearance at an event last week, and wore this outfit.
I am so glad I took it home with me recently…I really like it.
I am wearing the WIDE LEG LINEN PANTS in watermelon punch.
The top is the LINEN EYELET SLEEVE SHIRT in watermelon punch, and I tossed on a Love’s Pure Light Hand Painted Scarf for more summer colors.
The necklace is the LUCITE GOLD FOIL NECKLACE.
You have seen me in these two pieces before because I already have worn them several times around San Antonio!
I adore these pants…they are me…these are the LINEN BLEND SURREAL PRINT PANTS.
I actually put together recently the Mango Sorbet LINEN POPOVER TOP with the linen pants in watermelon punch…at the top now among my colorful cool summer outfits.
Yes, there are a few wrinkles in the linen, but it is not like some and is so comfortable to wear and I do like the look.
I am considering shorts during this Chico’s big sale. All signs point toward a hot, hot summer. Shorts will probably be needed.
The ones I am looking at are the ZENERGY UPF NEEMA SHORTS in Classic Navy; the Poplin Roll Tab shorts in the Secret Meadow green color: and the Travelers Bermuda Lake Shorts in black.
Not sure which way to go yet…I fear by July, I will have wished I purchased all three!!

I live in dresses when it gets hot here in the California desert. Our temps have only been in the nineties so far but we know, for sure, the over 100’s are not too far behind. All your outfits look great today! I do follow you on Instagram but I have become terribly frustrated with IG; it’s all advertisements lately and a black hole of TiK Tok videos. Super looks! I purchased some shorts and skorts for this summer. With a relaxed, breezy top in linen, I’m confident enough to enjoy them. I’ve decided not every outfit has to be “slimming” for me to feel good in it. We had almost no winter at all in Ohio and the weatherman said we are 3-4 weeks early with blooming native plants. It’s not just Texas … I think it’s going to be very hot here too (relatively), so you truly might want to look at purchasing all three styles.

I really like all your Chicos outfits. You look very nice in all of them. What I like is you show both dresses and pants. I really love the red outfit you wore to the event. I haven’t bought a whole outfit to wear in ages. I seem to buy just pieces. Tops and bottoms. But a whole outfit gives me something nice to wear that goes together nicely.

When we had a 95° day in February in North Texas I knew we were in for a rough summer. Here’s to our mutual survival! This morning we are blessed with a cool north breeze, so I have been catching up on yard work. Tonight I’ll be wearing one of the Chico’s pieces you shared with us earlier in the season for a church banquet. While quality seems to be declining at many other stores, Chico’s seems to be improving lately. You’ve got some great new options for us today, and I envy those of you who can successfully wear such bright colors. What a fun, joyful approach to summer dressing! I especially love the red outfit on you, and the scarf is the perfect accessory. My summer wardrobe seems to have landed on tan, ivory and sage and olive green. The Chico’s linen pieces I bought in teakwood through one of your posts are a big part of that. I also have a small capsule of navy pieces that work well with the ivory, and would be great for a weekend trip. I’m feeling good about my summer wardrobe this year for a change. I have found some great deals on Tahari linen T-shirts this week at my local TJ Maxx stores. There are several in that gorgeous leaf green you featured recently, and I found one in ivory and black that will be worn on repeat. You have to dig through a lot of junk to find them, but they are the best linen T-shirts I’ve been able to find at any price point. Light weight but not sheer and very affordable. The Watermelon color is stunning on you. The two linen pieces are a fun polished look. The bungee dresses are so cute and look incredibly comfortable. If they came in petite I’d order one for sure. If you love the color Madeira Red as much as I do be sure to look at the Zenergy Textured Star Top. The photo online does not do it justice. Its darling on and hangs well. More elevated that a regular tee. You might want to check out the poplin roll tab pants in Teakwood as well. They are cotton with just a touch of stretch. Very comfy for summer. I agree with Lori. Chico’s quality is moving back to what it used to be. I’ve been impressed with the pieces I’ve bought the past 2 seasons. If all the styles I love came in the colors I can wear I’d go broke this summer.

I too added more linen and linen blends to my clothes for summer. I’m a cool summer so my choices have been in white, navy and tan so far. I am wearing a 3, but the dress is very roomy. A 2.5 will give you a better fit.
I agree on the top. I wore it recently in another Chico’s post and explained what happened when I came out of the dressing room in it. I was a model that day and it sold immediately. Looks great on.
