I am back and Happy Tuesday, all!  Today I want to encourage you to Think Chico’s Zenergy for Summer Escape Sale!

I just took Chico’s Zenergy on a road test and I am ready to report back with results of Chico’s Zenergy for Summer.

We headed up through Central Texas at the end of last week for a road trip to spend time with family.

I have decided that the CHICO’S ZENERGY BUNGEE DRESSES are perfect for road trips…or any summer traveling.  AND…they are on sale!

I selected the Madeira Red Bungee Dress to wear for this road trip and here is why Chico’s Zenergy for summer is a great choice:

  1. The car trip is four hours with one or two stops for Tux or food or both…and this dress did not wrinkle at all…not one bit.
  2. Last weekend was our first unofficial beginning to our Texas summer and the heat was on.  The dress is super cool and comfy in the heat.

3. Each one of these dresses that I have worn (3 in my closet) look great with sneakers.

4. I wore this one in the car and then out to dinner once we arrived and did not need to change out of a more casual option.  This dress can be dressed up or down.

5. It is a complete, easy, one piece outfit.

6.  Last, but not least….these dresses are UPF material…perfect for summer.

This red is my favorite and I recently added the classic navy Zenergy Bungee Dress.

I also took this ZENERGY UPF BUNGEE NEEMA DRESS on the road trip and wore it back…again…comfort, no wrinkles, and cool…it was even hotter the day we returned.

In these road trip pictures, I was standing right by a butterfly garden.

They were dressed in their finest and so much fun to watch hundreds of them flying about.

For us this summer, travel will most likely be road trips.  Our largest travel is planned for later in the year. 

So, I am glad I did a road test and now know how comfy Chico’s Zenergy is for the summer heat.

  1. Happy to see these worked well for your (literal) road test! I do wonder though, what is the purpose of the bungee cord at the bottom of the dress? I understand when it’s at the waist, but soes it change the shape of the hem somehow when you cinch the toggles?

  2. I guess it does add some shape,Zaeobi. I like this dress for function more than anything. It is flowy and not form fitting. But so good for summer casual.

  3. I love a good road trip. You look happy and comfortable in your Zenergy dress. I like the zip collared top. I will keep my eye out to see if they do it in a warmer color and gold zip for autumn. It looks fitted, neat, and comfy. I am sure you had a family fun weekend.

  4. We did and I loved that I could be carefree in comfort and just enjoy. We ate outside twice, so being dressed cool was imperative. And I love the idea of a gold zipper! Yes!

  5. These are darling on you, but I’ve had no luck with the loose dresses on my shorter frame. But I bought a couple of tee shirt dresses for exactly the reasons you stated … ease in the heat, and we don’t always want to be as casual as when we wear shorts. We are 90 degrees in Ohio today. Thinking it might be a very hot summer, and I want to be prepared.

  7. I haven’t worn a dress in years! I do like the red Bungee dress on you & I have Zenergy joggers that I love. The fabric is cool and wrinkle free as you describe. I may just have to try one on to see how ot looks. Thanks for sharing!

  8. Dresses in the summer have become easy, cool options for many women here. I toss them on for errands more than anything.

  9. The red bungee dress looks so good on you and I’m glad you found it comfortable and perfect for road trips. I did look at this at Chico’s but I’m too short to wear it. Hopefully they will begin offering dresses like this in petite sizing. I loved being able to just pop on a casual dress & be done. I haven’t owned a casual summer dress in years but will keep looking. Its double challenging to need petite and autumn palette. BTW, I love the photo of the butterflies.

  11. It is good to hear that you got a chance to take a road trip. It is warm one day and chilly the next hear. Still spring in the Rockies. You look great in your red dress. I’m petite and dresses usually are not very flattering on me. I’m busty enough that they look like maternity clothes on me which is funny for a 79 year old woman!
