Sweater Weather at Old Navy
Happy fall Tuesday! Let’s keep celebrating sweater weather with Sweater Weather at Old Navy!
There were several women shoppers joining me looking over sweaters at Old Navy.
Perhaps because the forecast says things are about to change and bring full on sweater weather.
Old Navy has really ramped up in popularity during these high inflation years because of the affordability.
And where you can shop for you and others…including grandkids at the same time.
So, let’s look over what I found for sweater weather at Old Navy.
SWEATER WEATHER AT OLD NAVY: MY SWEATER PICKS
The SoSoft Loose V-Neck Sweater was my favorite on this trip for sweaters at Old Navy.
I took home this deep green called Conifir.
But, I also liked the stripes. There are 13 varieties of this sweater.
On my curvy body with a substantial chest size, I prefer a V-neck sweater to a crewneck.
That Is one of the reasons that I liked this sweater.
This comfy Eyelash Sweater in brown is the oversized…wear around the house…snuggle sweater that I have been looking for…and it was 40% off.
It feels like you are wearing a soft teddy bear.
It comes in four colors and the red is a nice Christmas red…would be comfy for Christmas morning as well.
This is a very pretty cropped sweater which was the heaviest I tried on and would be good for colder climates.
It has a “tweed” look to it and all of the colors are very nice…the brown and blue are my favorites.
This is the Mock-Neck Crop Sweater in cocoa.
SWEATER WEATHER AT OLD NAVY: OTHER WAYS TO BE WARM
I do not usually wear plaid shirts as toppers….but I thought this one was very cute.
This is the Flannel Boyfriend Button-Down Shirt, and I am wearing the Brown Check.
There are, however, fourteen selections in this shirt.
I did not try this one, but I liked it.
Would be super cute with jeans.
This is the Slouchy Button-Down Cardigan in the multi-stripe…there are three other choices.
I liked the color, so I tried on this top….but it does come in twelve colors.
This is the Cozy Waffle Henley T Shirt.
And for those looking for turtleneck knit tops…there are many colors to see.
These are the Plush Turtlenecks...at a great price point…especially if you need it to wear under jackets.
Want cute, on-trend shoes to go with your sweaters at Old Navy…check out the Pointed Toe Flats.
These are the pieces that caught my eye on my recent visit to the Old Navy in Abilene.
They literally had the store turned upside-down that day and I was told they were putting the winter collection out on the floor.
So, I will try to return soon if there is interest from you. I also walked out with a shirt for one of the grandsons and want to see what else the children’s department will have.
You can go here to the sweaters at Old Navy, and find all they have available. The So-Soft collection is very comfy/cozy.
If you have any questions or comments at Sweater Weather at Old Navy, then let us know…it is fun to get out and shop these sweaters.
Hopefully see you tomorrow…until then…

Quite a selection! I love the quote about fall and change. I am going to paint that into my journal.
Old Navy has been a staple for me as I’ve gone down sizes with weight loss. I especially like their fall or spring jackets, and I have their shaker stitch cardigan in a couple of colors. All have washed pretty well, though I fear shrinkage and pilling, so I don’t put them in the dryer. A lot of people swear by their jeans, but they seem heavy and not very well cut for me. I’m much happier with their tops. I avoid their prints. Sure, a try on is always welcome, and this is one of the better places for affordable fashion. Another I’ve never heard you mention is Maurice’s. If your town has one, I’d enjoy a try on from there as well.
The So Soft collection is really great! Bought one in lemongrass, and it was so flattering and cozy that I went back and ordered a gray, cordovan, and Spice. They are also on sale right now for a very reasonable price and if you have Old Navy Super cash they are very affordable! I mix up my wardrobe with things from Old Navy, Talbots, Lands End, Chico’s, and JJill and I am never disappointed
U look slim and trim again! Congrats! The very first picture really showed it, wow!
I want to go to old navy but I’m sick with walking pneumonia ugh
It’s really going around. Grandkids brought it to me. I’m near Houston tx
Take care. Got my flu shot though.
That quote is so meaningful to me right now with all the changes we are going through.
We must not have Maurice’s in the places I have lived, Linda. I have never heard of it. I also do not wear Old Navy jeans. This is one of my affiliate partners and a place I know several readers enjoy.
I do a similar mix for my wardrobe as well, Cristie. The So Soft collection is cozy!
Debra, I am so sorry you are ill. Please take care of yourself. The last few years, my illnesses have all been related to children! Take care.
I am impressed with the styling of the sweaters and how good they look on you, Pam. I’ve never shopped at Old Navy and didn’t realize until recently that there is one in the local mall. Thanks for the tip, LindaLM, for them holding up well when you are not putting the sweaters in the dryer. I will make a point of stopping in and checking them for their sizing the next time I’m near the mall.
I agree…I never put my sweaters in the dryer. Thanks Kathie.
Love the sweaters on you! I can’t wear wool or wool blends so I’m always looking for sweaters in cotton blends or synthetic ones. Please do return to the store when they have their winter collection completed. Fall and spring are very short here in Colorado. Winter is long and it is coming soon. We usually have had snow by now but it has gotten warmer here. A cold front is coming in tomorrow here.
I have a waffle henley that I bought on clearance several years ago, & it has performed quite well. I love that there are so many colors from which to choose. I’ve had a shopping trip on my agenda for quite some time, but life has been busy. My hope is to do some shopping after I vote next Tuesday. I also would like to check out the so soft sweater. I am feeling the need to update my casual wardrobe. I’m starting to let go of some of “good enough” items.
I will go back, Sydney. I know in West Texas we are looking forward to the same cold front.
I know it is hard to do, Becky…but I agree that good enough is not good enough! I just voted…glad to have it done!
Thanks to you and Becky for reminding me that “good enough” is NOT good enough! As I start a long-delayed purge of my five rooms full of clothes, that phrase will be in my head. I don’t need a lot of clothes, and I don’t need more clothes, for sure. But I DO need better clothes for this life stage. I have enrolled in a new exercise program through a fitness app, so hopefully I will start to see smaller numbers on my scale soon. In the meantime, Old Navy is the right price point, and their tall sizing is always a bonus for me. Since your sweater post a few weeks ago I’ve bought two of the So-Soft v-necks, and I have another color on the way. I also fell hard for some satin and velvet pieces. Much better to sort out what I’m wearing this holiday season now, before the invitations start rolling in. My favorite brands are the ones Cristie listed, minus Talbots, which never seems to fit me. I appreciate the diversity of price points you bring us, and would love to see the full winter line from Old Navy, as I have a ton of super cash from this shopping spree. As other’s mentioned, you look so trim in these looks, and I know that must feel great. Your hair is also exceptional in every photo lately – so glad you found a local stylist who does such a great job!
Thanks for the encouragement, Lorri…I don’t feel trim..I desperately need to get back to working out…schedule is crazy right now as I have been playing mom role this week.
Material I bought a couple of sweaters from Old Navy this year. I always look for a high percentage of cotton with no wool, regardless of where I buy sweaters. I still have many weeks to go in a big boot , and I ordered some wide leg jeans to wear. I am very happy with them and the material. I have bought jeans at Old Navy for years. I like that they have many styles to pick from, and my experience with them has been very good. They have a wide range of sizes online.
Thanks for sharing this, Kathy. I know it helps others to read comments from those who like and wear the brand.
