NOTE:  I have something a little different for our VIDEO OF THE WEEK.  This is a facebook video from a local boutique here in Abilene.

I am sharing this from Addie’s Boutique because I believe you might receive some inspiration for your fall outfits to see how these are being styled.

This is an in-boutique fashion show with models in our age group…and touches of humor too!

Hope you enjoy more from my new community and the fabulous women who live here:

  1. I Loved Addies Boutique video!! All models were people just like us, beautiful casual clothing that I could see many of us buying. Simplicity but stylish! Loved it all.

  2. So glad you enjoyed it, Rita. That inspiration is exactly why I shared it for everyone.

  3. Loved today’s post. Addie’s Boutique was awesome, and she used models that are more like us! The recipes were great printed some to make. Denise Austin’s video and exercise was great to know and yes just 15 minute walk to prolong our life.

  4. I believe the video was featuring “Flax” Lithuanian linen? I purchased an outfit while in Nantucket probably 25 years ago before linen was “in.” Darn, I wish I would not have donated it!

  5. I have several of those regrets…so I understand…one of the reasons I am slow to toss some things out.

  6. I also loved the video from Addies. I love seeing regular women like us modeling the clothes and they all looked like they were having such a great time.

  7. You are so lucky to have such a great boutique in your town! The clothes are comfortable looking but very stylish. She had many sized real women modeling so we could see fit and color. Good fun video!

  8. Hi Pam, loved the fashion show with real women modeling. And since I’m a huge fan of April Cornell and Flax, double bonus. My mom wore Flax years ago and I order from their website directly. Once a year they have a Barn sale with nothing over 50.00 and they have iems on sale through out the year but nothing beats the barn sale. The fashion show was a lot of fun. Betty

  9. You should go to Vickie’s Gifts in Roscoe, Texas. It is a boutique in Roscoe, Texas which is 50 – 55 miles west of Abilene. Great things there. She has a a Facebook page.

  10. Thanks so much, Pam, for posting the FB video – really enjoyed it. The ladies all seemed to have fun and I absolutely loved the outfits.
