I was encouraged to explain more about my SHOPPING LINKS page and how to use it.

I am an affiliate for many different brands and when you click on those brands and shop, then I receive a small commission.

This is such an important income for me and my family.

I have tried to include the brands most shopped by this audience, but sometimes I miss one of your favorites.

If you will tell me what you are shopping, then I can tell you if I am affiliate for them and give you that link…if it is not already on the page.

  1. Happy Thanksgiving, Pam, and to all. Seeing Notre Dame made me cry. I wish I could be there!! I love Jennifer L. Scott. She is an elegant lady with good ideas to share. I am vicariously sitting outside under those trees in the table setting article. Thanks for the great collection of information. Be joyful, and eat lots of pie. It’s all about the pie. 😂🥰

  2. I’ve watched that you tube person before, and I think there’s a lot to it. I’m in a weight maintenance phase, and have found that if I eat my weight loss daily diet, I can splurge occasionally without gaining weight. I do think it’s helpful not to have treats around. I don’t keep them in the house after guests leave, and that holds for the holiday season.

  3. I love Jennifer Scott and I read Madame Chic when it was first published. She has really branched out. The articles look interesting, as always!

  4. Loved the French way of eating etc made a lot of sense
I have always liked circular furniture round tables rounded bed frames, couches not square.
    Thanks for all u do!

  5. Pam , thank you for today’s needy articles! Interesting reads as the ovens bake away. We are not hosting but will be with everyone at my daughters home, ten minutes by car!
I feel so lucky! Blessed. Enjoy your first Thanksgiving in your new home! Thank you for all that you do for us…..

  7. Pam, I thought the video was brilliant. She made so many good points. Common sense but things that easy to forget in our culture. Moderation. No seconds. Eliminate snacking. Don’t eat distracted. Eat what you love. Stay active. Set a lovely table. etc. And today is a great day to bring this up. Many people will join family and friends for Thanksgiving dinner. Its not the day to worry about what you eat if you just keep to the above mindset. Its one day and no reason to beat yourself up over a piece of pie. When I was a WW leader I told my my members “No one is here because of what they ate at Thanksgiving dinner rather than what they ate the other 354 days of the year.” Its easy to fall into habits that cause us to gain weight but the French way of eating is a great way to get on track and stay on track without feeling deprived. Thanks for some great articles today. I got a kick out of the article about shoes to wear with cropped jeans (I had to google as the link didn’t work). The illustrations were the exact opposite of what the author recommended!

  8. Good luck with your pies today! I’m actually doing a pot roast in the slow cooker as I don’t care for turkey. Poor Trix keeps going into the kitchen and coming back to me with longing in her little dog eyes. We have apple pie and ice cream for desert. My best friend is coming over to watch the dog show and share in our bounty. Happy Thanksgiving Pam! I enjoyed the articles. I’m glad to know that our daily dog walks are helping our brains to stay sharp.
