Talbots New Arrivals

Happy last day of January 2025!  Today, I have my Don’t-Miss Pieces from Talbots New Arrivals!

This is another catalog of Talbots new arrivals where I want to make sure you do not miss certain styles within the book.

I like to pretend that you stopped by for a visit and that we are sitting over tea and looking at the new catalogs together.

I would say…Don’t Miss this TAILORED STRETCH NO CLOSE BLAZER and show you the first picture.  It comes in four colors.

So sit down with me and let’s enjoy these Talbots new arrivals as the brand begins to “gently” push us towards a warmer season.

DON’T-MISS PIECES IN TALBOTS NEW ARRIVALS – IT’S BAAAAACK

Talbots New Arrivals

You might remember that last spring, I showed you this cute short trench coat.

I loved it, but I do not wear pink and it was only offered in one color.

Well, don’t miss this….

GREEN!! This is a slightly different design in the same coat.

Just look to the top to see the main differences.

It is the TALBOTS TWILL SHORT TRENCH COAT and look at how the back is designed when you click on the link.

And I do think this striped top in the green stripe would be super cute with the jacket.

I like how the sleeves would also look at the cuff line.

This is the LATTICE TRIM CREWNECK TEE … three color options.

Talbots new arrivals include several cute top styles.

If you would like a different don’t-miss piece in the Talbots new arrivals that also is green and in different colors, then consider this jacket.

This is the CLASSIC JEAN JACKET in derry green and it also comes in pink.

And Talbots new arrivals still include traditional jean jackets.

DON’T-MISS PIECES IN TALBOTS NEW ARRIVALS: BLUES

I think this look for the Talbots new arrivals is such a casual chic style.

This is the TEXTURED POLO CARDIGAN in blue wave.

And styled with the SHORT SHIRT – SPRIGHTLY STRIPE.

Also, for some of you a don’t-miss piece will be the NO IRON POPOVER STROLLING STRIPE.

Also for those of you who wear the light blues…I think this is a don’t-casual outfit in the Talbots new arrivals.

The star here is the KNIT A-LINE COAT.

I love this overall look for athletic wear in Talbots new arrivals.

The top is the VINTAGE SHERPA FULL ZIP JACKET in indigo blue.

And the super cute bottoms are the PERFORMANCE INTERLOCK LEGGINGS in Indigo Blue.

These are a don’t-miss piece for me since I am working to upgrade my workout looks.

Another more athletic piece in the Indigo Blue is the HALF-ZIP HOODED SWEATER.

  1. Lots of cute looks for spring. Mostly crayola colors which look fresh and happy. l love the look of olive paired with ivory and will keep this pairing in mind for spring. The polka dot top is darling and 100% cotton. I’d try it but I see it has dropped shoulders which tend to look bad on me. We no longer have a local Talbot’s. I won’t order unless I’m pretty sure. I had to return a piece that was different than described and it cost me $18 for shipping & return. Happy Friday.

  2. I do love the mulberry wine color Talbots is showing now and appreciate that almost everything comes in petite sizes. I would love to have that blazer that you first highlighted in the mulberry wine color. I’ve also noticed the polka dots here and maybe it was the other day at Chico’s. I do especially like the sweater jackets that have been around for a while as they can be dressier or casual. So many pretty things to choose from is always so tempting!

  3. I’m looking forward to seeing the February line in person. Not sure how soon I will be able to go though.
Have you stopped doing dressing room try on’s? I’ve missed that.

  4. Another refreshing post, albeit in mostly the off colors for a deep autumn. I saw that olive dotted top and should have tried it on. I bought their ecru stovepipe jeans a few weeks ago, but my eye may not adjust to the shape. I haven’t tried them with summer sandals, but they were interesting with my bitter brown suede boots. I am just not sure yet. I love that textured blue wave cardigan; however,
your photo and the photo where I go to look at it on their website show a difference in color. I would have to see it in person. I think it is too bright for me. There are so many options for anyone who is looking for a refresh. Thank you for a wonderful week of choices!

  5. Hi Sandy, perhaps you missed that I have moved to a new town where there is not a Talbots. Whenever, I am in a place where I am near a Talbots, I will do a try-on. I miss it too!

  6. These are great suggestions. They always do a great job with their spring items. I live within an hour of a Talbots. Their store has a good amount of petite items. I was in Chicos last week and I was so sad my local store, didn’t have much of a petite selection. I had to go online to purchase my items. I really love Chicos jeans.

  7. Thank you, Pam! I’m all in with Celia on the purple (mulberry) cardigan. And that trench on you — wow! I bought white seamed-front white trouser jeans last summer; the cardigan would be great refresh with them. I have never worn ballet flats as I have flat feet, but they sure are cute. Do you have any (brand) that you especially like. P.s. I thought of you watching Denise Austin model the workout clothes. I love how energetic and personable she is.

  8. I like Easy Spirit ballet flats and so does my daughter. Remember my savings code for 20% off is Pamela20.

  9. I received the Talbot’s catalog and will be shopping next week. Beautiful new outfits and colors.

  10. The trench coat is adorable but….I really like to have my “behind” covered and not “cut in the middle” by a blouse/jacket, etc. My tops which are worn outside my slacks/jeans typically cover me.
As for ballet flats, I have two pair from Vionic and I purchased them a few years ago. I, too, have flat feet and plantar fasciitis but the Vionic shoes have arches and I can wear them all day without a problem. If you wait long enough, you may be lucky to find the shoes on sale.
