  1. Thank you, Pam, for this great collection. The French girl article just reinforces that classic is the best. I can’t wait to try the Skinnytaste beef bourgignon. Skinnytaste is one of my favorite sites. Princess Caroline is beautiful. Have a warm day!!

  2. I love the video. I haven’t thought of Princess Caroline in a long time. She’s certainly aged gracefully. I think I want her hair style. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Please don’t scold me for a contrarian opinion. The article about stretching for hip flexibility is not safe for older people. The article is written by a younger man and shows fit, younger men doing the stretches. There is risk of injury for older people. The article about the 90 year old woman is far more doable. I have severe hip arthritis, mild scoliosis and mild osteoporosis. I attend classes lead by women PTs who are trained in these areas. I am recently doing a deep dive on osteoporosis. I listen to/watch on YouTube the podcast Happy Bones Happy Life by Margie Bissinger. There’s a lot to learn and a lot that can be done.

  4. Thanks for sharing what works for you, Linlee! No one would scold you for keen observations!

  5. I am looking forward to looking at other articles, but I read the fashion ones earlier. I am so happy that I tucked my skinny jeans away rather than donating them. Princess Caroline is lovely. Very classic. I wanted to mention that I enjoyed seeing you wearing your cold weather clothing yesterday. My husband has that Burberry scarf. I should borrow it. I enjoyed your daughter’s outfits. My daughter is also a working mom about the same age. I love seeing her choices when I visit for a week. She wears a lot of Anthropology, Sezanne, and Kettlewell. Your daughter is lovely. She appears to have the same style as my daughter. Well, time for a walk. It is 7* with windchill. Thank goodness for Lands End 0* coat. With all the fires and unusual weather across our nation, I hope that everyone here is safe.

  6. I join in with you Deborah hoping all are safe. I have been watching news about the fires and it is so sad. Thanks for sharing…I think I will always love my skinny jeans!

  7. I agree with Linlee about the hip flexibility stretches. If someone, especially in our age group, has any knee or hip issues these stretches done the way they are illustrated can cause pain and injury. I recently stopped attending my Wed. yoga class because the instructor changed the routine and added in that “saddle” stretch and increased the several lunges (I counted 12) in the sun saluation. If you have knee or hip issues pigeon can be done safely in your back. Loved the video of Princess Caroline. She has her mother’s beauty, style and poise.

  8. As a former CCU RN and married to a physician, I agree strongly that those stretches as done by young men are very inappropriate for our age group. I have an artificial right knee joint, severe arthritis, peripheral neuropathy and osteoporosis in my right hip. These stretches would injure me as done. Please consult a good PT and your physician before attempting a vigorous stretching routine. As said above, even some yoga is not appropriate for us. Don’t do it if it will hurt you. I am 80 and stretching gently and daily walking are my means of staying healthy.
I loved the Princess Caroline video! I enjoyed the article on French style. Thank you Pam for the choice in articles. I’ve started baking again as a creative endeavor. Thank you for getting me started with Sally’s recipes during the holidays.
