Cozy in Chico’s Style – Outfit #2

Chico's style

Happy Wednesday, friends!  As promised yesterday, here is Cozy in Chico’s Style – Outfit #2!

Yesterday, we discussed how to be cozy in Chico’s style this year, and today, I am feeling super cozy.

When I think of the word “cozy,” I think about be wrapped in a warm blanket of softness.

And that is how I feel in outfit #2 today…a style forward cozy wrap.

The layers in this outfit will require colder temperatures, but the minute they land I will reach for this one.

Join me as we consider how to be cozy in Chico’s Style.

COZY IN CHICO’S STYLE – THE SWEATER BLAZERS

Chico's style

Chico’s sweater blazers are my favorite garments to wear this time of year for cozy in Chico’s style.

The style is classic design, and fabrics soft and cozy.

I am thrilled to have one that is sized down for me and a more flattering fit.

It is the CHICO’S CHEETAH JACQUARD SWEATER BLAZER.

However,

I will still wear the sweater blazers I own, though larger now…I believe I have three more.

This one is the DOUBLE BREASTED SWEATER BLAZER in the shade of green called mossy grove.

It still looks great and is very warm and cozy….and it comes in four colors.

I will also wear this one!  Love the tweed-look to it.

It is the TWEED LONG SLEEVE SWEATER BLAZER in the same shade of green.

The sweater blazers are just great pieces to own for when the weather turns colder, and you can layer just about anything underneath.

If things are going to warm up, sometimes I just layer the with a tank.

BTW, I still like these fun jeans a lot!  They are the GIRLFRIEND FRAYED HIGH-RISE JEANS...so cute.

COZY IN CHICO’S STYLE – LAYER WITH A SWEATER

However, for colder weather, I have layered today with this ELLA BATEAU PULLOVER SWEATER.

It is heavier and cozier, and looks stylish with animal prints in this carmine red.

I know I will wear this one often…and it will be great to have for the holidays.

The sweater is also available in seven colors and is designed with the round hemline that is so flattering.

Also, in the feature sweater blazer outfit, I am wearing black denim…which I like to have on the bottom away from my face.

I also need to size down in these, but I do like the pant…it is the SKINNY ANKLE JEAN in a black wash.

COZY IN CHICO’S STYLE – ACCESSORIES

Chico's style

You know I love Chico’s accessories and wear them with the majority of my outfits.

I have already worn this necklace often…love having an artistic, shorter gold option.

It is the SHORT PENDANT NECKLACE.

And Chico’s now has me feeling more confident to wear belts again.

I tried a skinny belt earlier, but I do feel more confident in this slightly wider one with a style-forward buckle.

And, it is reversible… so just like getting two belts in one!  With all of my new brown, these will go great.

Do notice that it runs large and you may want to size down, but the larger fit has been fine on me.

This is the REVERSIBLE TORTOISE BUCKLE BUCKLE TROUSER BELT.

Losing weight has me trying belts and tucked in shirts more often…it takes time to feel confident but I am on my way…and a style-forward belt really helps.

And, Chico’s has me cozy in Chico’s style for any upcoming cold front!

The pieces in Outfit #2 are about to get much traction in my wardrobe.

Thank you for joining me today…hope to see you tomorrow for the Thursday Edit…until then…

EMBRACE TODAY & KEEP SMILING!

  1. Great picks from Chicos, Pam! Last year all my sweaters sat in a drawer because the weather never got cool enough. Predictions from the weather experts say El Nino will change that this year. Having a third piece to layer over a tee or shirt works well and I love seeing all your combos. The Ella sweater in Copper Flame would be so nice for Thanksgiving!

  2. There is no combo in the world I like better than natural leopard with red. I have a sweater blazer with those bigger spots that I’m hoping I can still use, even as an outdoor jacket, and I have the JJill cardigan with tiny spots you showed us a couple of months ago. I love your styling trick of putting the belt over the sweater and under the sweater blazer. It defined your waist nicely, without that confidence-crushing full tuck. I got the all clear yesterday from the surgeon to resume normal activities (prayers answered, and I’m brim-full of gratitude), but the swelling will remain for several months. I’m really looking forward to wearing a belt after 45 years of pulling a longer shirt over my tummy. But I might start slow, like you did here. It will be a big change in silhouette that I will need to get used to.

  3. The Ella sweaters are my favorite and I do own a few colors. That Copper Flame looks gorgeous and I agree, Linda, that it is prefect for Thanksgiving!

  4. I am so happy for you that you can resume normal activities, Linda! So excited for you going forward. Even I am having to start slow with returning to belts and tucked in shirts. This is a great belt because it is reversible and I am much more confident wearing it this way under a jacket than in my jean loops with a tucked in shirt. You have fun ahead!

  5. Pam,
All I can say is that you look so chic and definitely cozy. Your diligent attention to your good health maintenance has really paid dividends. Wow!

  6. I think both yesterday and today’s outfits are perfect for fall. I do like the cheetah sweater blazer on you with the red underneath. What a good combo for you.

  7. Pam, you look so put together in all your blazer outfits. I especially love the belt on you. I also liked the skinny belt you had styled previously. I almost never tuck in a shirt but I love belts as a nice accent if I do a front tuck. I’ve also noticed there are quite a few belted blazers in stores this fall. I especially like that look as well.

I was looking at one of your older blog posts recently (probably to get a recipe) and was just wowed by how far you’ve come on your weight loss and fitness journey. Comparing the present to months ago, the difference is very impressive. You’re looking so trim and your dedication has paid off. Of course you always have that glow of joy, which just makes you shine. You’re such an inspiration.

  8. The rain and cooler temperatures arrived last night! It is 48 degrees and drizzling outside now. It would be perfect for your outfit today, well with a raincoat! I would love it with the Ella sweater in the teal. That would be gorgeous and the only way I could wear the sweater blazer for a light summer.

  9. You look very sharp in you leopard blazer over the red sweater. The entire outfit is so well coordinated with accessories. Wearing the skinny belt over the sweater is a brilliant. I am not a fan of the half tuck and I think this is a much better option. You hair looks wonderful. The cut of course, but also the shine.

  10. You look phenom,in this outfit, the colors make everything pop on you.. Todays outfit also really shows off your new shape beautifully. Congrats on all of your hard work.

  11. I have loved wearing red with animal prints for a long time…and the Ella sweaters are amazing!

  12. Thank you, Cindy for such kind words. I do have a health update coming in Monday’s post.

  13. The Ella sweaters are beautiful and so comfortable to wear. I also love that teal color.

  14. I also would rather wear a belt like this than the half tuck…I have jut have never been able to get the half tuck to look good on me. Just felt like a mistake. Wearing belts again is confidence building for me. Thanks Kathie.
