Important Discovery: A Wireless Device for Drug-Free Pain Relief

A SPONSORED POST

I have discovered a little gem, which I know will be of help to all of you.  Read on to learn about the OMRON HEALTHCARE AVAIL™, A WIRELESS DEVICE FOR DRUG-FREE PAIN RELIEF.

Mr. Bill and I are active adults in our sixties.  He loves to run…not just any running…off trail running.  In Texas, that means through rocks, trees, cactus, shrubs, and snakes!  He runs half marathons and is currently training for a run in Colorado early summer.   He loves it so much, he will do just about anything to keep running..I am not that active. The minute I heard about snakes,. I said no thank you to off trail running; however for me, to do my strength training and treadmill walking on a regular basis is way more active than I was in younger days.  We both tend to struggle with pain issues.  Getting old does stink sometimes…doesn’t it? However, it is so good to know there is help for those who suffer from chronic and acute pain.  Omron Healthcare Inc., a global wellness technology leader has invented Avail, an innovative over-the-counter medical device for safe and effective drug-free pain relief. Avail is Omron’s first TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) unit with wireless and dual channel capability that provides relief from chronic and acute pain. The device can treat multiple pain sites simultaneously and is controlled by Omron’s new mobile app, Omron TENS, enabling users to operate Avail remotely.

I was first introduced to electrical nerve stimulation by a chiropractor after a car accident many years ago.  The combination of treatments really helped my back and had me pain free very soon.  So when I learned we could now do this at home I was immediately interested.  My husband struggles with arthritis and has been lately suffering from plantar fasciitis.  He was also very excited to hear about the Omron Avail.

It comes with two soft, contoured pads that fit comfortably and securely to treat a variety of areas of pain simultaneously. Avail’s five pre-programmed Body Pain Modes soothe lower back, shoulder, knee, elbow, and leg pain with recommended therapies. Avail users can also design their own therapies using five additional pulsation modes – including steady, acupuncture-like, knead, tap and microcurrent – and 20 different intensity levels. Bluetooth® 1 connectivity on Avail provides wireless control of settings via the Omron TENS app, for on-the-go personal control of pain relief. Omron TENS for smartphones is available for free download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.  A therapy regularly administered by physical therapists and chiropractors, TENS sends stimulating pulses across the surface of the skin and along the nerve strands. The pulses help prevent pain signals from reaching the brain. Electrical stimulation can also trigger the body to release endorphins, which act as natural painkillers, and improve blood circulation. Omron was the first company to market with an over-the-counter FDA-cleared TENS medical device for use at home.  Of course, we recommend you discuss this with your primary physician or if you are under the care of a physical therapist.

Here is the really good news, you can save on the device if purchased by March 31.  Those who purchase now may take advantage of the introductory pricing offer of $159.99 through March 31, 2018.  After that, it goes back to its regular price of $199.99.  Check it out on the Omron website HERE FOR SPECIAL OFFER.  We will be curious to see if this saves us money on the over-the-counter pain meds, physical therapy, and even therapeutic massage…all have been used by Mr. B.

This could be very beneficial for many 50+ adults who suffer from chronic pain. Thanks so much for stopping by………….and, please……………………….

KEEP SMILING!

  1. This is very interesting to me because my son has chronic low back pain due to his work. It’s very bad and he has tried all sorts of things including PT with no good result. He does have a “device” of some sort that is electronic that delivers some sort of ‘pulses’ and I’m wondering if it is something like this, only his is not portable or used through an app. I’m going to send him this to see what he thinks. If he could take it with him and use it when the pain becomes unbearable, that would be a huge help. Thank you for sharing the link.

  2. Let us know how he is doing, Karen. I hope this would help him. It is a process which need to be done regularly and logged into the app to chart the progress.
