How to Style Trend Peacock Colors from Fall 2018

At the beginning of the Fall 2018 fashion season, we discussed how the trend colors were called peacock colors…deep blues, greens, purples, and yellows.  Those are some of my favorite color combinations and I have enjoyed creating new looks from my closet.

This outfit is one I really like.  The pieces are:

  1. An Eileen Fisher purple turtleneck knit tunic I found on sale one year at Dillards
  2. Joan Vaas leggings (a favorite pair I have owned for about 3-4 years) and originally purchased at Marshalls
  3. A beautiful Chalet knit jacket from a boutique in Boerne, TX , my husband bought for me
  4.  A scarf I discovered on sale in a shop within the Las Vegas airport,
  5. Booties by Rhea, gifted for the blog a couple of years ago and very comfortable.

The biggest advantage to having seasonal trends is to the challenge.  It challenges me to look at my wardrobe in new ways and put together some fresh looks…that is the fun of fashion for me. I love all of these colors together. Keeps me out of a rut!

Has anyone styled a new trend idea for yourself this season which you really like!  Please share your ideas. I also have some new gift ideas below for your consideration.  Stay warm everyone, and ………………………………………………………………………………………………….

KEEP SMILING!!

    1. I wear black because I love it. I like color such as I am wearing, but for every day…no. I just love black and neutrals so much and really feel chic when I have them on. Thanks Binky!

  1. That jacket is gorgeous on you! Would love to find one like it. Our coloring is similar and I also wear bold colors well.

    1. Thank you Wendy! I wish I could help you find one. I know I see Chalet items in many of the nicer boutiques.
I got this a couple of years ago.
