Shopping Talbot’s with Leigh & Me

Shopping Talbots

Happy Sunday, everyone.  It is time to go Shopping Talbot’s with Leigh & Me.

We stopped by last week looking for dresses and skirts, but, of course, found more.

As we were leaving, a manager said…Come back soon, the next collection releases on April 25!…that would be tomorrow!

So, we do have some things to show you today, but will need to return to see the new items.

TODAY is the last day of the recent additional 40% off on some of the sales items.

Also, remember we go to try on clothing for you as well, so not everything we show is in our best colors…but just may be yours!

Shopping Talbots

Let’s begin with using lemons to make lemonaide…and some of the lemon prints are lovely for spring.

The first two pictures, include these pieces:

I am in the Cotton Bateau Neck Tee, with the Girlfriend Denim Shorts in Bluff Wash.

Leigh Ann is wearing the Canvas A-line Skirt with the Eyelet Yoke Crewneck Tee in Clover Green.

In the second photo, she is wearing the Cotton Button Front Shirt in Lemon Blossom as a topper and commented on how much she loves the feeling of the fabric.

Leigh Ann found several offerings in her sizes, but often needs to try some Mediums and then some Smalls.  She can wear both.

This is the Climbing Floral Button Front Voile Skirt with the Iconic Italy Roll Sleeve Crewneck Tee.

Since we stopped by after Easter,  we were pleased and surprised to still find several dresses available.

Leigh Ann is wearing a best seller called the Belted Shirtdress in Clustered Garden.

Shopping Talbots

This is a great little dress and Leigh Ann tried it in her best autumn colors.

It is the Detail Knit Shift Dress Nantucket Slub in Bright Papaya.

Looks like black is sold out, but the organgy and blue colors are still available in some sizes.

SHOPPING TALBOT’S WITH ME

There were only a couple in my size for me to try on for you, but I do plan to return to see the new collection.

This is a very versatile dress…perfect for the summer heat on the way….it is the Embroidered Denim Shift Dress in Surf Wash.

Today it is 25% off and it is quite comfy!

Shopping Talbots

I would consider this dress style in a different color…even a solid, no print.

It is comfortable and fits well….this is the Island Paisley Tie Detail Jersey Sheath Dress in Ivory/Hot Pink.

Talbot’s is a great place to think MOTHER’S DAY!!

It will be here before we know it!!

I am looking for a dress to wear to an event coming up very soon, so I hope to have more to show you next week.

We actually stopped by Kohl’s and Marshall’s this day….and found nothing of interest.

SHOPPING TALBOT’S BEGINS WITH A SMILE!

Shopping Talbots

Leigh Ann and I have never discussed what we are going to wear when we plan a shopping trip.

She showed up at my door for Shopping Talbots…and we both laughed as we were wearing the same colors!!

We may have to discuss our choices from now on…maybe people thought we work for a company or nonprofit where we dressed in these colors.

It was so funny, that I had Mr. B snap a picture.

And…after all, I am wearing a little from Talbot’s….the Montauk Twill Jacket in Ivoryand the Pima Cotton-Blend Tank in Ivory...I love the feeling of this tank!

Thanks for being here…let us know if you have questions…and I hopefully will see you tomorrow!

  1. There’s a reason this is my favorite store, and both of you found fabulous things! I love lemons as a pattern, and thought their addition of the lemon pattern for summer was a wonderful idea! The dresses are great and Pam, I really like your pink shoes. They remind me of super comfy Vans, but the pink is wonderful!! The shorts you found are the only length I’ll wear, and both of you look great in all your choices! My kids give me Talbot’s gift cards for watching the dog (I’ve tried telling them it’s a pleasure doing this, but they persist and I don’t argue), so I’ll be going with my sister soon to have some fun with those! You and Leigh Ann have inspired me!!

  2. Talbots is clearly my very favorite store. Their shorts and pants fit nearly perfectly though I must try on as I go between between petite and misses depending on the style.
I love their styles this year especially.
Given that, you and Leigh Ann look great in their many dresses offered this spring. I love your look in the print where you’re holding your phone. Pretty! So many dresses to consider!

  3. Talbots never disappoints me! The wrap dress is a very flattering fit and I bought the striped version. It runs a little small so my usual medium was snug but the large perfect. My local store in Palm Desert, California has the most unbelievable staff!

  4. Much color this year at Talbots. I loved the spring collection last year, more than this spring. But a lot of their looks are trending, so I think I’m in the minority. And what is it with the stores not having much for you to try on? My store too is half empty!

  5. You and Leigh Ann both look great. I’m looking for skirts and just love the floral one Leigh Ann has on, so I may order it.
On a side note, your necklace in the last photo absolutely makes the outfit. I’m not big on accessories, but, wow! I can’t wait until you go back for the new arrivals. Thanks so much!

  6. I love Talbots and think the lemon prints are cute. I am a fan of their Charming Cardigan sets. I bought the royal blue to go with their print skirt from a couple of years ago. I think their slim cut ankle denim pants fit . This spring I purchased a yellow pair and just love how they are going with so much in my closet. Love your feature shopping with Leigh.
