You can shop ANYTIME with the links under the page at the top called SHOPPING LINKS...and I will receive a small compensation for your shopping.

Also, if I have posted a link on a specific garment, and you use that link to go to the website of the brand, but look around and buy something else, I still get credit…though you do not buy what I am wearing.

Please ask any questions… this income helps keep me here, because even at age 70, Mr. B and I need additional income.  He also works two jobs.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who shops this way.

  1. Such a nice collection of articles. I saved the apple butter pie recipe to try with my newly made apple butter. I have a third making reducing at the moment. I’m always on the lookout for heart healthy recipes as one article provided. And the article on body envy was most enlightening to realize how many women are not comfortable in their own bodies. So many comments included the fact that they have been on diets since childhood which is foreign to me as I’ve been small for my age throughout childhood and as long as I worked/ taught. However, now that I’m retired, I’m envious of ladies who are thin as I once was, but I’m trying to accept my now plump body at 76. Hope you have a good day. I’m going out for my morning walk.

  2. Enjoy your morning walk, Celia and be thankful for who you are right now! You have me wanting to make apple butter!

  3. Love and saved so many articles today! Thank you for not giving this up! Another reason to visit San Antonio one dah – thrift shops!

  4. I will keep it going, Deborah! I have heard from so many who like it. Look for more on October 11.

  5. Pam, as usual, a delightful and informative collection! Thank you. I like the color scheme article. The 10 Daily Habits are so true and a good reminder. I saw a cookie recipe online today that has no sugar and is sweetened with ripe bananas. I can email it to you if you want.

  6. The article on body acceptance made me recall those semi-public weigh-ins at school! Not everything we did “back then” was better than now. I wish we could just teach and use fresh, whole food and healthy diets, and let people have the bodies they are meant to have. I recently read Atomic Habits, and it debunked the myth of goal setting and instead focused on daily habits. The author points out that we can only control our process, not our outcome. That one sentence stuck with me.
