Remember,  you can shop ANYTIME with the links under the page at the top called SHOPPING LINKS...and I will receive a small compensation for your shopping.

Also, if I have posted a link on a specific garment, and you use that link to go to the website of the brand, but look around and buy something else, I still get credit…though you do not buy what I am wearing.

Please ask any questions… this income helps keep me here, because even at age 70, Mr. B and I need additional income.  He also works two jobs.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who shops this way.

AND THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE!! CELEBRATE FALL!

  1. What a very smart man that parent is to teach his daughter about bullying by taking the bullied girl shopping! I taught for 30 years and parents were always shocked to learn that their child was the aggressor; I still clearly remember an incidence in a kindergarten class with a group of girls that was handled badly by the parents. Yes, I do remember the Ladybugs! In 1964 Ed Sullivan had an act on every Sunday that would appeal to teens after the success of the Beatles. I was 13 and made sure to watch!

  2. I did not remember the Ladybugs until I heard them and then it all came back. There were several things that motivated me to leave teaching when I did…one of them was the handling of bullies…or ignoring of bullies. I wish more parents got involved in ways like this man did.

  3. So many great articles together. I kept reading one after the other, and now need to make myself get out of this chair and get something done! 😂🤣

  4. I do want you to be active, Celia! Come back later for more after you get moving!…LOL

  5. I always read your Wednesday news articles though I don’t always write a comment. Today I so enjoyed the recipes-soup, stew, dessert for Thanksgiving and so on. Now I’m unbelievably hungry! Since I’ve been to my 8;30 tai chi class, and walked two miles I feel famished! Off to prepare something.

  7. I enjoyed your article on Danielle Parton. She sounds like a very interesting woman and an obvious leader. She does resemble her aunt! I use Avocado oil to cook or roast at higher temperatures. It works great! I am going to try those crispy roast potatoes. I keep your list of articles for several days reading.
