Chico’s picks make spring outfits fun

spring outfits

Happy Tuesday!  Today, I would like to share how my Chico’s picks make spring outfits fun.

Among my five style adjectives you will see the words….creative, approachable, joyful, and current.

Together these adjectives tell a story of a woman who loves to have fun with fashion…especially with color and design.

I add the word “polished” to the mix just to keep me under control….if I get too out there with my choices it doesn’t feel like me.

This is why my Chico’s picks for spring outfits this year are giving me so many options…they easily speak my five adjectives.

Some I have already added to my wardrobe…and some are on the wish list.

So, join me as I share how my Chico’s picks make spring outfits fun.

CHICO’S PICKS MAKE SPRING OUTFITS FUN: ALREADY PURCHASED

Chico’s picks for spring outfits definitely include linen pieces and this great color called Mango Sorbet.

I added to my own wardrobe this LINEN POPOVER TOP in mango sorbet, and like it for casual Fiesta events this week.

I knew I needed and would wear often what is on the bottom…the GIRLFRIEND CROPPED JEANS in Rainier Indigo.

These are super comfortable and I know will be worn often through the summer.

These Chico’s picks are perfect for warmer weather.

I also purchased this LINEN 3D FLORAL DRESS in the color called Teakwood.

I have it and will style it for you soon, but looking forward to wearing it to church and other special occasions.

My purchases were made possible by the Rewards sale and I used up all the rewards given to me.

CHICO’S PICKS MAKE SPRING OUTFITS FUN: WISH LIST

I know, I know…some of you are looking at these pants and wondering…really?

But, I like them and quickly put them on my wish list of possibilities.  I also like the solid colors offered in this pant.

It is the LINEN BLEND SURREAL PRINT PANTS.

I own so many tops which would go with these pants…including the black one I wore yesterday, the mango one above, and some of the Verdant Green tops I purchased earlier.

I think they are fun and do not mind being noticed.

These are a serious contender for me on the Chico’s picks make spring outfits fun list.

If I lived in a cooler climate, I would own this Zenergy top…I think it is lovely and really quite chic…thank that rounded hemline and high neck zipper option.

This is the ZENERGY UPF FLORAL LONG SLEEVE TOP.

It would be too warm where I live and not enjoyed enough.  But I wanted those of you in cooler climates to see it.

The Zenergy Collection also travels really well.

  1. I liked the frayed, striped jacket in the slideshow a lot, but the weather will be hot soon, so not sure I could justify it right now. I really think Chicos knocked it out of the park this spring, getting the “Chicos look” more through prints and fabrics than the exaggerated sleeves, ruffles and embellishments they did last year. These fit my adjectives much better. I love the Zenergy line, especially for tops that elevate a basic pair of leggings or yoga pants.

  2. Pam, the teakwood dress is classy!! Can’t wait to see you in it. The pants are in line with your FUN adjective.

  3. I agree with you, Linda. This spring every time I stop by Chico’s I find something I like.

  4. I will style it soon, Marcia. I am so glad Chico’s introduced the teakwood color for spring.

  5. I am charmed that you can make gentle fun of yourself about the surreal print pants by saying, “I know, I know…some of you are looking at these pants and wondering…really?”
And then I admire you for putting them on your wish list because you see possibilities and various ways to style them. You go, girl!

  6. Good morning Pam. I love he way you’ve styled the Mango Sorbet Popover with that necklace. I will remember this when its time for me to finally wear mine. It was 31 degrees this morning when I took the puppy out so its not linen season here yet. Mango Sorbet looks great on you. Its one of my favorite colors. I bought the matching crops and a tee in that color plus I have the linen blouse from last year in the same. I think your wild pants are fun. While I don’t wear shirts in prints I’m a big fan of printed pants and skirts for summer. Like you said, so many options for different colored solid tops. And while I don’t like black or white near my face I don’t have the same concern for pants with those colors included. The dress you purchased is so cute. Looking forward to seeing how you style it. Happy Tuesday.

  7. Happy Tuesday, Kathie! The Mango Sorbet is such a great color. Stay warm and look forward to wearing it!

  8. I have lost weight and have been looking for some summer clothes and was really pleased with Chico’s colors and styles this year. I found several tops that blend well with my updated wardrobe and will transition from spring through fall and will work with our northwest erratic weather. I really like the mango pop over top and dress you have shown. Thank you for showing them to us.

  9. Some nice outfits. I really like the sorbet color on you. I’m considered a summer so I need to find a different color. But I do like Chicos. The outfit I really liked was the one you wore to the gender reveal party. It’s a little too expensive for me right now but will look for an alternative.

  10. Chico’s has lots of cool colors, Paula, including black and lovely blues! If my outfit from yesterday goes on sale at any point, I will make sure you know.

  11. I saw that mango color when I visited Chico’s in Portland a few weeks ago, and it is beautiful on you! Love the light blue burnout topper in your slideshow, too. I did a little shopping yesterday through your links, but decided against the purple dress from J.Jill at full price, though I did splurge on the cute embroidered-trim hoodie. Now this morning I see J.Jill is doing 30% off dresses and sweaters 😁, so if anybody has been holding off, today could be a good opportunity.

  12. Thank you so much, Connie for shopping with my links and encouraging others to do the same! I am so thankful!

  13. I love the Zenergy floral quarter zip on you, Pam! We’re going on a European river cruise next month and think this would be the perfect addition to my travel wardrobe. Right now I’m a little ‘fluffier’ than I’d like, weight wise – can I ask what size you have on and do you think it runs TTS? I’m usually a 2 but would maybe like to layer a t-shirt underneath.

  14. I have in a three, Tess. It fits me well so I think it is TTS. It would be a beautiful piece for a cruise.

  15. I love Chicos! I just received my order for Alabaster white wide leg jeans in 2P! They fit perfectly. Since a year ago I have slowly built my wardrobe with neutrals like white, off white pale washed blue and navy blue linen. Also in soft light weight denim jeans. I now can wear my colorful flutter tops. As a cool summer I lean to blues but do have a few pale pink patterns and love the stripes in my tees. Pam, you look terrific in the warm tones a you shine in the mango top! I actually love the colorful pants on you and would consider them for myself. On my wish list as my rewards pile up.

  16. The brand has closed all store fronts and gone completely online. Much like what Coldwater Creek did. I probably will not do much for them because I need to try on their clothes. The sizes are not consistent. I was sad to see their store close.

  17. I love shopping with my piled up rewards! So satisfying! Glad you love your new pants, Sydney!

  18. I ordered the linen pants in photos 6 and 8 in the slideshow in the teakwood color and was very pleased. It was a happy accident that they also matched the embroidered French terry hoodie from JJill you showed us recently! I just couldn’t make these linen pieces with the 3-D floral accents work. Mine arrived very smushed, so I sought advice from my local store on fluffing them up. Their verdict was I probably couldn’t revive them. They are gorgeous pieces though, so perhaps best to purchase in-store. I haven’t shopped Chico’s much since COVID, but they have some really nice things this season. Thanks for keeping us posted on what’s in the stores!
