My very favorite shade of green in the 2024 fashion trends is this Heritage Green at Talbots.

This CROP JACKET is one the way to me…it has already sold out once and is in the second round.

I missed it the first time, but quickly ordered when I saw the re-stock.

Here are other Talbots selections in the HERITAGE GREEN.

I like how this top mixes many of the shades of green into one place.

This is the BATEAU NECK TEE in Isle Fronds.

I am wearing it with the EVERYDAY RELAXED JEANS in the Selena Wash.

I have enjoyed wearing this blouse for spring.

This is the POMANDER PLACE GREENBRIAR EYELET ALICIA BLOUSE from Tuckernuck.

And the pants are once again my Talbots HIGH WAIST RELAXED JEANS in white.

As I said…all shades of green are go for the 2024 fashion trends.

Here are a few items in this slideshow that I pulled for your consideration:

I want to add that the first striped Chico’s shirt in the slideshow is a great top.  I saw a woman try it on as a topper and we both loved it…she took it home.   It looked wonderful on her.

Everyone, I am so excited about this next Zoom Event.  Two of my favorite people (and color experts) will join me and Brian Haugen to talk about what is best to wear on our cheeks and lips.

Many of you know that it was the fabulous Annie Castano from London who taught me that my best colors were in the Vibrant Autumn family, and she will join us from London.

Annie was the one who selected my lip colors when she took me from a cool palette to a warm.

Susan Blakey of unefemme.net has been a friend for several years and is now a trained color expert as well.  This will be a fun one.

To join in on Zoom, just go to this SIGN HERE LINK. Of course, invite anyone you like to the party.

The event is next Saturday, May 11, and the times are

  • 9:30 AM PT

  1. Good morning! The Zoom event looks really interesting and fun, but unfortunately I have a conflict with the timing. Will it be available to watch on replay? If yes, do you need to register for it to receive the recording? Thanks Pam – love this year’s green trend!!

  2. Hi Barb, Brian made it available on Youtube last time and I posted it on the blog. So it should be available again and you would not need to register. Registration will get you the link to use to log into Zoom the day of the event.
It should be fun…I will probably be listening and enjoying more than participating…I have learned much from the other three.

  3. I love the display of so many greens – I can wear nearly any green but they are so rarely fashionable !

  4. I’m overwhelmed with all the green available now. It’s one of my favorites. I can remember not being able to find green shades in fashion years ago, so happy it’s back.
Love the cropped blazer. Thanks for posting.

  5. I remember that time as well. Having all of these shades on trend has been so much fun for this lover of green!

  6. Green is GO! I bought a pair of olive pants that I love, but I sometimes struggle on how to style them. Color of top, completer piece, etc. Any ideas are welcome.

  7. Marcia, I love olive and wear it as a neutral… meaning, I believe it goes with anything. One of my favorite combinations is with purple! I love it. But it really looks great with anything…have fun experimenting with tops you have.

  8. Happy to see so much green available. I have green eyes so I can wear most shades of it, Hope the trend continues into fall. Happy Saturday. The zoom sounds interesting but I will miss it. I’ll be with Cocoa at puppy kindergarten. I hope Brian will post the zoom recording.

  9. Love the greens as well, and especially that beautiful Chico’s full skirt and the J.Jill fringe-hem ankle pants. My orders arrived this week, and I wanted to report that the embroidered accent hoodie from J.Jill is BEAUTIFUL. The fabric itself surprised me, as I had expected a sweatshirt grade fabric, but this has a woven texture almost like you’d find on a polo shirt, making it a real step up even before the lovely trim work. Perfect complete piece for summer mornings or walks at the coast. Happy 🐎 Derby Day!

  10. Yay! So glad you liked your order, Connie! Run for the Roses every day!

  11. Hi, Pam, sorry if I missed it but I am looking for the link to the sweater (w/white pants) at the very start of your post. I think it may be Chico’s? If so, I hope it comes in Petite. Thanks very much! I love you in that Talbot’s jacket. I saw it in the store but didn’t try it on b/c it’s not my shade of green, but it’s a gorgeous color and very stylish.

  12. Lean more towards shades of blue for my wardrobe however do like apple green (think Granny Smith’s Apples) which works best for myself. As to lip color; unfortunately with the exception of it being clear or on a rare occasion a light application of a cream blush, I don’t wear any as experience an allergy reaction from their compounds so have learned to compensate by adding color to my finger nails. Last but not least; the zoom event sounds like fun and hopefully it will be on You Tube for us can’t who join at the time of recording.

  13. Just returned home after a long day. Love greens and always have. I have so many that work in my deep autumn palette. I am probably too late for Marcia and her olive pants. I bought a pair of olive pontes that I am wearing on my trip to London; I am wearing them with cream top and cream sneaks, and a key lime pie green cardi. I needed to lighten them up. I know how she feels!
Hope to catch you on the replay. I would have loved to be there in person.
That green jacket is a beauty, but not quite deep enough for me.

  14. Hoping Maria will check back for comments, as I am another big fan of olive green! I have recently put together a capsule travel wardrobe for a trip to Charleston next month. It ranges from olive green pants to lighter olive pants and shorts, and a beautiful light olive embroidered top that J Jill just got in last week. It’s a very soft light olive green with light beige embroidery. It is sort of a Reuanna/poncho type top that hits at hip level but is not completely open in the front. I was disappointed that it only came in two sizes: too large for me and huge. They basically grouped XS to L and 1X to 3X, which is disappointing. But it’s such a beautiful piece I had to take it home. Look in J Jill‘s pieces for the color oatmeal heather. It’s a heathered beige but the little slub threads look almost like a light olive when worn with olive. In the pure Jill line I bought the V-neck tank top as well as the V-neck tee. Both are slightly flared at the bottom which accommodates my current tummy situation, and they are cotton fabrics which will work well for me here in Texas as well as Charleston. I loved the tanks so much I bought two of them, because I’m prone to spills and wanted a backup in case one gets stained halfway through my trip. I also like a denim jacket with olive pants, and although I try not to wear black near my face these days, black and olive is a pretty classic combination that I still end up wearing fairly often. I recently bought a beautiful linen midi skirt from the Poetry online site based in England. The color is called “Deep Bay“ and it’s a really cool abstract print that’s basically olive green with what look like brushstrokes of rust and black. It feels beautiful on and fits like a dream. Sizing was very consistent with J Jill’s. It’s not an inexpensive piece, but if that’s your signature color, it’s classic and you could probably wear it for years. Hope that helps! Although Pam did not include any softer or olive green options in today’s slideshow, there are plenty available right now, especially through J Jill, Old Navy, Chico’s and Kohl’s; all stores that I’ve been shopping more since Pam began featuring their current pieces. Hope that helps! I’ve been buying quite a few items in my favorite green tones since they are having a moment, and you can find some great options.
