Chico’s summer outfits in a floor show
Happy fashion Friday, everyone! Today, I am sharing more fun with you as I modeled Chico’s summer outfits in a floor show.
One of our local Chico’s at the Village of Stone Oak in San Antonio, invited me to model summer outfits for their customers.
They pulled outfits for me and all I had to do was walk the floor and describe Chico’s summer outfits to the ladies coming in.
This worked beautifully. I even sold clothing right off my back since I had on the sizes customers needed.
And it was so much fun meeting and talking with other women.
I love to do this.
So, today, I am going to share with you the Chico’s summer outfits featured In this little floor show.
CHICO’S SUMMER OUTFITS IN A FLOOR SHOW – LOVE THESE JEANS
As soon as I walked out onto the floor, customers were asking me where the jacket was located…and it is a great jacket.
But, I was so impressed with this pair of jeans.
The jacket is the LINEN BLEND STRETCH BLAZER in white…but warm palette ladies, it also comes in Teakwood.
These jeans are soft and comfy…and pull on wide leg jeans. I love them and I sized down from a 3 to a 2.5.
These are PULL-ON DRAWSTRING WIDE LEG JEAN on a wash called Waikiki Indigo…perfect for Chico’s summer outfits.
The first tank they pulled for me is the MICROFIBER TANK in a color called Purple Nightshade.
I also showed one customer how good this outfit would look with the TOUCH OF COOL PLACED FLORAL TANK with a navy base.
They also pulled this lovely poncho for summer outfits, so I paired it with the jeans.
This is the LACE CROCHET PONCHO in grassy green…but it does come in four colors.
I am wearing it over a MICROFIBER TANK in classic navy.
CHICO’S SUMMER OUTFITS IN A FLOOR SHOW: ELEVATED CASUAL
In this floor show, Chico’s summer outfits definitely included a touch of elevated casual.
These summer looks good go just about anywhere.
This Chico’s summer outfit is composed of:
GEO EYELET SOFT CROPPED PANTS in classic navy
MICROFIBER TANK in classic navy.
EYELET SHORT KIMONO in classic navy
The next elevated casual in the Chico’s summer outfits features a touch of drama.
This is one of the the jacket designs that is my favorite design at Chico’s and I think I own three different one.
I am wearing the FLORAL RUCHED SLEEVE SOFT JACKET and the foundation color is classic navy.
Underneath the jacket is the MICROFIBER TANK in the color called Watermelon Punch.
The bottoms are the FLORAL PRINT SOFT CROPPED PANT.
Chico’s jewelry helps to elevated casual summer outfits even more.
This beautiful necklace is the ADJUSTABLE SATIN SCARF NECKLACE.
And if you like this print in a bit more casual style, then try this super soft tee shirt.
This is the FLORAL JEWEL NECK TEE.
CHICO’S SUMMER OUTFITS IN A FLOOR SHOW: SUMMER FUN
Summer is all about having fun and Chico’s summer outfits help us to look great with big smiles.
This top went home with one of the customers after I walked the floor in it.
This outfit begins on the bottom with the ZENERGY UPF BUNGEE NEEMA CROPPED PANTS.
And on top is the EMBROIDERED STARS PEASANT TOP.
This outfit was very cute with the WHITE LINKS BRACELET.
Here is another one of my personal favorites for summer outfits and it features the color watermelon punch.
I am wearing the LINEN EYELET SLEEVE SHIRT, with the WIDE LEG LINEN PANTS.
I topped it off with the LUCITE GOLD FOIL NECKLACE.
This dress is another garment that sold right off my back after I walked the floor in it.
I preferred to wear it without the belt.
This is the SILK BLEND MODERN PRINT SHIRT DRESS and it is light and fun.
I left the house in my own Chico’s summer outfit and did walk the floor in it after arriving.
These are the LINEN FLEND SURREAL PRINT PANTS, with the LINEN POPOVER TOP in the mango sorbet color.
This outfit felt so great to wear on a very humid, hot day yesterday when the floor show happened.
CHICO’S SUMMER OUTFITS IN A FLOOR SHOW: THANK YOU
I want to thank the associates at the Village at Stone Oak for inviting me to participate in this floor show…it was tons of fun.
I love to meet new people and to show them the great Chico’s summer outfits in a floor show.
They enjoyed asking me questions and touching the fabrics…it was a great way to meet with customers.
These last two pieces I have on are:
THE AMERICANA FIREWORKS DENIM JACKET
CROPPED WIDE LEG JEANS in Alabaster
Your turn! If you have any questions about the looks in the Chico’s summer outfits in a floor show, then ask away. I will be back tomorrow…until then…

So much fun to see you participating in these shows! Chico’s has really upped their game this spring, and I am loving the pieces I got, especially the teakwood pull-on linen pants that match the jacket you’re showing today. Unfortunately, I was between sizes in the jacket, but will wear the pants so many different ways this summer, especially on my trip to Charleston. I’ve been noticing the large chain jewelry everywhere. How did that bracelet feel to wear? It seems like it might be bulky enough to be in the way – would love your thoughts. That navy eyelet set would be so perfect for summer wedding festivities like showers and bridal luncheons. Do you think the fabric would travel well? You look great in all these pieces, but to me that was the one that was classic “Pam” style.
What a wonderful way to spend the day: dressing up, changing looks, and most importantly, helping others. You spread your joy. You look great, even in colors that are not in your palette. It’s that Pam smile and positive attitude.
What fun!
Two questions: I love the jeans, but are they really for summer? I find most jeans too heavy unless I’m going to the mountains. I almost always have to hem my pants about one inch. The fit I prefer is exactly what you show—just hitting the top of the foot. But I think you are an inch or two taller than I am. I’m 5’6”. Petite might be too short. It doesn’t seem possible to do a simple hem-up with this style.
Chico’s has upped their game this year…there are so many of these looks I would love to own. It is difficult for me to answer your questions, Lori, since I have not actually worn these looks more than in the store. But, the bracelet was not bulky or bothersome for the time I had it on. I think the navy outfit would travel well, but, of course, I do not know for sure. The pants are stiff so they should fold and unfold nicely…but again that is just a guess. I love that navy outfit…I did bring home the kimono jacket. I already own the navy Chico’s tank and I already own navy wide leg crop pants and did not feel like I should buy another pair…but I am tempted.
Thanks Deborah! I love doing things like this…meeting the customers in already styled outfits is fun.
I am a little over 5’7″ and these jeans are good for summer…I did not find them heavy at all…and that is why I brought them home! Personally, I think a single hem up would be too short. I hem is substantial.
Sounds like a wonderful afternoon for all. Hope you decided to purchase some of the outfits as you looked great in all that you modeled. Thank you for sharing!!
I did take a few pieces home with me, Janet. Chico’s is full of great summer outfits.
Funny: when you first started describing the outfit and began with the jacket, a little impatient voice in my head went, forget the jacket, get to those -jeans-! Those looked fabulous on you, and I was glad to hear you took them home. Apparently, my eye is finally getting used to the wider leg pants, although I prefer a flare or wide-ish straight leg for my shorter (5’5”) apple shape. I always say that Chicos has tremendous basics that are not always apparent to the customer who thinks of them as having all the dramatic florals and embellishment. I have so many of their microfiber and touch of cool tanks, and just bought a short sleeve dress in the travelers collection for my cruise. Your comment about selling clothes off your back because they were the right size for customers is really telling. Retailers are really missing opportunities!
I agree, Linda. It is exciting to see Chico’s and Talbots hosting these previews. I encourage everyone to take advantage when you receive notice of one. They are helpful and fun! I do love these jeans.
So many great outfits and you wear them so well! The navy eyelet top and pants has my eye as well as the surreal painting print. I don’t care for too many prints or florals but somehow Chico’s always has a fun summer one that appeals to me. Our Chico’s store here is a large one and I see a trip in my future! I find myself eyeing your shoes/sandals and thank you so much for reminding me about the versatility of SAS.
How fun for you, Pam! These outfits look so good on you, it’s hard to pick a favorite. I really like the wide jeans on you, exactly what I was wanting to see in updated silhouettes. Those Chico’s folks were wise to have you onboard.
You are welcome, Linda. All my shoes were SAS!
Thanks so much, Kim. I love doing this!
You look gorgeous in every outfit! I want to try the pull on wide leg jeans and eyelet short kimono.
Thanks for sharing.
I bought those jeans 💕 for my trip to Europe but had to order the petite online (my store does not carry petite). They arrived 45 minutes before our Uber picked us up for the airport! 😳 Needless to say I was one happy traveler. Two days in London left and then headed home.
You are so welcome!
So glad you got them. I like the jeans and have plans for them.
The wide leg jeans look terrific on you. I broke down and bought a pair and love them.
I have a feeling they will be a favorite this summer!
You are a great model. No wonder so many items went home with customers. So glad you purchased the gorgeous navy eyelet kimono jacket. Love the wide jeans too. I have a similar pair and they are so comfortable. After years and years of slim pants I am getting used to the silhouette. I keep going back & looking at the red star embroidered peasant top. I love texture and of course the color. I’m a good 4″ shorter than you though and I’m not sure I could pull it off. I may take a chance on it if it goes on sale. Did you find it TTS? Loose? I would love it if our Chico’s had an event like this. Next time I’m there I will tell them about your event. Happy Friday.
Ordered and purchased with Pay Pal and believe I was scammed. I love Chicos Clothes and Jewelry. Be careful of scammers using Chicos.
You should, Kathie. Maybe if all of the readers asked their Chico’s for one it would become nation wide thing. That would be awesome. I found the red top TTS. I am very much a size 3 right now.
What happened, Patrice. Can you share how you were scammed? I would really like to know.
I love, love, love Chicos jeans! I just bought the wide leg alabaster white jeans and they are light weight without being see through. The 2P fits me perfectly at 5’2” and 144 lbs. No other brand seems to be as comfortable on me like Chicos jeans. They look terrific on you Pam and I’m glad that you took them home.
Thanks for sharing, Sydney about your experience! I am glad I took them home as well.
You look absolutely beautiful in the Chicos’ clothes you modeled/sold there! Gorgeous!
( were you ever a model?) .
No…I have not been a model. lOL!
But it is fun! Thanks Paulette.
