August picks in new arrivals at J.Jill
Happy fashion Friday, friends! Let’s have some fun and look over my August picks in new arrivals at J.Jill.
This week began with my Birthday Shopping at J.Jill.
While I was shopping at the Alamo Quarry Market location, the wonderful sales associates hinted that new arrivals at J.Jill were imminent and I should return this week.
So, I did and found several fun selections for my August picks in new arrivals at J.Jill.
I rarely bring you dressing room try-ons from the same location in one week, but this was worth It.

So, once again, let’s go shopping so you can see my August Picks in new arrivals at J.Jill.
AUGUST PICKS IN NEW ARRIVALS AT J.JILL: OUT OF THE GRAY
I love everything about this outfit…comfort, fabric softness, style, and the new color darker gray called Gray Lead.
This would be so perfect for travel and travel around town. The scarf is even super soft.
I am wearing the WEAREVER SMOOTH-FIT CLASSIC SLIM LEG PANTS with the WEAREVER SLUB-KNIT ELLIPTICAL HEM TOP.
The PAISLEY-PLEATED SCARF matches the color perfectly!
This is the only black piece in my August picks in new arrivals at J.Jill, but I wanted to show it to those who love black.
This is the PURE JILL ORGANICALLY GROWN COTTON EMBROIDERED TOP.
AUGUST PICKS IN NEW ARRIVALS AT J.JILL: NEW SHADES
My picks for new arrivals at J.Jill had to include this jacket in a new shade of olive green called pesto.
For those of you in warmer climates, this is a great jacket for going into fall…it is very lightweight and comfy.
And the casual design is also very flattering though it is a shorter length jacket.
This is the COTTON GAUZE FRINGE JACKET in light pesto…and the one you see here is the shade…It looks darker online, but is not.
The first top I have on under it is the incredibly soft LUXE SUPIMA PLEAT BACK TEE in the harvest sun color. I also really like the pleat back design in this tee.
The second top is the PAINTED FLORAL TOP and I think it is beautiful! Love the buttons down the front and the high neck. It is a print of light pesto and black.
I also tried it with another new arrival at J.Jill in pesto.
This is the MIXED-TEXTURE GILET in pesto. A nice addition to a fall wardrobe…light sweater texture.
The MIXED-TEXTURE GILET also comes in navy blue and I tried it on here with a navy top so you could see it with another color.
This is the comfortable PIMA-SLUB SCOOP NECK SIDE-SLIT TEE in navy.
AUGUST PICKS IN NEW ARRIVALS AT J.JILL: NEW WAYS TO TOP IT OFF
Now that pre-fall is hitting the stores, we will see more ways to top off our looks and the new arrivals at J.Jill included several.
Here are my picks for the August new arrivals.
First, this jacket is a little oversized, and I did size down. Most of what I am wearing today are in XL, but this jacket is a L.
This is the PURE JILL RELAXED GAUZE BLAZER in another good warm color called Light Sandstone.
I have it over one of my new favorite colors for this fall….a deep teal called Adriatic…love it!
This is the LUXE SUPIMA PLEAT-BACK TEE in adriatic. Goes really well with the new darker gray lead!
Speaking of the color called adriatic, I also like it in this new cardigan.
This is the TEXTURED-STITCH OPEN-FRONT CARDIGAN which is light and so nice for early fall.
I like how they styled it online over the tee above in adriatic…the tone on tone is nice. I put it on here with the yellow, so you could see the texture of the cardigan better.
Last, but certainly not least, in my August picks for new arrivals at J.Jill is this beautiful little jacket.
So many of you will love the classic design of this jacket…right down to the buttons.
It comes in two colors, but for my picks I wanted to highlight this lovely cream called Moonbeam.
This is the DIAMOND-QUILTED CURVED HEM JACKET…not heavy at all.

That light pesto jacket with that pretty edge detail is a winner, and I hope it came home with you. I agree, the Adriatic is a great color for us autumns (especially a blue autumn). I’m going to click a few of your links and take a look! JJill always does really nice jackets, and I bet this time of year is a sweet spot for those living in a hot climate. Many of these looks read fall, but are lightweight.
Thanks Linda…I was very pleased to try on lightweight looks for fall…we have warmer weather typically into October and these are great ways to transition to our fall colors and styles without the sweat.

It’s amazing and so is that color…I did take home the Pima Tee in that color and the gray Wearever outfit. It’s always fun to see you in my favorite retailer – thanks for another great try-on! I just placed an order last week that hasn’t arrived yet, but when I take the wrong sizes back to the store I’ll definitely be checking out these new options. I can’t wear a blue-based grey but this looks like the kind I can wear – yellow-based, I think? It’s been ten years since my color analysis, but I’ve always liked grey on my lower half. Looks amazing with that new blue, which I also need to try.
