Casual Fall Outfits with J.Jill and Easy Spirit

Happy fashion Friday, all!  Here is the first of my casual fall outfits with J.Jill and Easy Spirit for life in a new town.

I am encouraged at the number of ladies 60+ I have seen while out and about who are dressing with a little style in mind in their casual fall outfits.

For me stylish casual fall outfits really means to look current and J.Jill selections and Easy Spirit help me to do just that.

This week, I have only dressed to leave the house for errands…not for any special occasions or events.

And, Abilene news reports they are experiencing a warmer October than normal…in fact,  one reporter called it Hot-tober.

It is still cooler here than in San Antonio, so I am not complaining one bit.

This look I am wearing today was perfect this week for errand running in casual fall outfits with J.Jill and Easy Spirit footwear.

So, allow me to share with you why I like this type of casual fall outfit.

CASUAL FALL OUTFITS WITH J.JILL AND EASY SPIRIT: THE WEAREVER COLLECTION

casual fall outfits

The majority of my shopping before I arrived in town was for casual fall outfits to wear for a more casual life.

I still want to speak my style adjectives…polished, approachable, joyful, creative and current.

I discovered this outfit during the summer at J.Jill and really was drawn to the casual comfort style and to the gray lead color.

I did not have anything in my current wardrobe this color, but it is in my vibrant autumn color palette.

The Wearever Collection at J.Jill has very comfortable casual fall outfits and keeps me true to my adjectives.

The weight of this fabric is perfect for a warmer early fall.

I am wearing the WEAREVER SLUB-KNIT ELLIPTICAL-HEM TOP with the WEAREVER SMOOTH-FIT CLASSIC SLIM LEG PANTS (and I have several tops which I can wear with these pants.)

I did purchase the scarf at the same time because it looked so great with the outfit, but I cannot locate it online.

Here are the other J.JILL SCARVES currently online.

When I get my jewelry unboxed and set up, I will probably be wearing something with a look like this…either a long necklace or a bracelet.

It was comfortable for all day wear and I enjoyed running my errands in this casual fall outfit from J.JILL.

J.Jill’s Wearever section of the store is where I often find pieces that I can wear the most, and I did find several for casual fall outfits.

And J.Jill just released yesterday new Wearever, arrivals.  Have you seen the WEAREVER LUXE SOFT PLAID SWEATER JACKET.

I am one of those girls who always loved red shoes…red ballet flats, red loafers, red heels…yes, I loved red shoes.

Now that I require more comfort footwear, I am so glad that Easy Spirit sent me red shoes for my casual fall outfits!

And this is perfect red for me…it is called dark red.

Not only are these the perfect shade of red…they are also slip-ons and so easy and comfortable.

This is the DENISE AUSTIN EASY WALK EMOVE WALKING SHOE…I own it in two colors.

Easy Spirit has new arrivals you just may want to check out for your casual fall outfits.

And don’t forget that you can save 20% off any Easy Spirit purchase through the end of the year with the code PAMELA20.

This fall outfit works for me perfectly right now, when I am only dressing to run errands and returning to unpack boxes.

I will keep you informed of my other casual fall outfits…comfort is really key at this time.

Any thoughts on this one in my casual fall outfits with J.Jill and Easy Spirit?

Thanks for joining me…hopefully, I will see you tomorrow for another on the list of 2024 Fashion Trends.  Until then….

  1. It is great to hear you are out and about. You hit your adjectives in that perfect outfit. I always had a red shoe in my wardrobe, too, but it has been difficult for me to find a warm red. I will see if I have a pair that I could leather paint. I do have a warm pair of terracotta loafers, so an orange can do it for me for the time being. The best news from you is that it is cooler!!

  2. Yes…I will take even a little cooler!! This shoe is the warmest red I have seen…that is one reason I like it so much. Happy Friday, Deborah!

  3. I believe it is warm in real life…but I would say a slightly brighter brick red. It is not a cool red…at least I do not think so…it compliments my warm clothing nicely.

  4. What a nice outfit. Very simple and the scarf just adds a nice touch. I love the color.
I’m glad things are coming together for you and your getting settled.
    Love the shoes!,

  5. I’m curious as to whether you would always wear a scarf … I was going through my scarves to wear with a white blouse and thinking “will I look out of place” when I wear this? It just seems to me that, with workers going so casual, scarves just are not worn….they make such a statement, are so classy, and can add so much to an outfit! Today’s outfit is sooo pretty and great color; the scarf makes the outfit “smart.” (IMO)
On the subject of red…I have two red vintage Coach bags which I love!

  6. Love this outfit ! It looks great on you especially with the red shoes being retired and not needing dressy clothes right now I’m looking forward to seeing more ideas for casual outfits so happy to hear your move went smooth and now getting settled

  7. I got that exact same outfit as soon as JJill came out with. I hope I look as good in mine as you do in yours. I’m definitely a JJill girl. But now I’m inspired to try it with some fun red shoes.

  8. Your bags sound wonderful, Margie. I for one will continue to step up my casual with scarves and jewelry. That is one way I express my creative side!

  9. Love the red shoes with it, Kathleen and I also plan to wear my leopard shoes with it!

  10. Unfortunately, I can’t wear J Jill pants. The waist is too tight for the size of my hips and thighs. But I do love that outfit on you. It looks comfortable and stylish. I love my Denise Austin Easy Spirit shoes! They are all day comfortable for me and that is hard to find.

  11. So funny how married to habit we are. You are looking and dressing for your style adjectives … and even wearing a scarf … for running errands. I’d be in jeans and a decent tee shirt and older cardigan for running errands and unpacking. I do like the red shoes,

  12. I think this outfit is perfect for running errands. It looks very comfortable, & the pants are a nice change from jeans which is what I usually wear. I think both pieces could be dressed up or down for other occasions. I’ve mentioned before that I love knit shoes as they are really nice for when my big toe joints are swollen. The dark red color is a great choice for fall & winter.

  13. Hmmm…not sure if I am married to habit or just wanting to look my best to meet new people.
