Please consider for all of your fall shopping needs to click on your favorite brands on MY SHOPPING LINKS page. Thank you to everyone who supports the blog this way.
For reasons unknown to all, I didn’t get any posts yesterday or today. How fun it was to go to the website and see that you’re back! Since you can’t do as much shopping, I think your move is a wonderful opportunity to show us some styling pics of what you wear. Looking forward to seeing some of the great times in your new town.
I will be sharing those, Linda. And yes…the blog is back!
Interesting brown video. I have trouble falling in love with brown. I’m sorta liking the brown and denim. But the brown and red….not sure. How do the ladies here feel about this?
Brown is one of my personal signature colors since I am an autumn and I have fallen in love with the rich browns lately…hopefully others will share too, Marcia…but I might keep this discussion going into another post to promote more comments on it.
Thanks.
We missed you, Pamela! Thanks so much for the great posts today. I definitely have some new recipes to try out.
I agree with Marcia about having trouble with brown. It has to be a very dark cooler shade for me to wear it. I have dark brown jeans and a cable longer cardigan. I wear light blue tops with the brown. I’m a cool summer. I’m very happy that you are back Pamela.
There are so many good ones that I found…and I love to cook in the fall and winter, so I tend to get a little carried away…thanks Judy…happy to be back.
And I am so happy that all of you are back as well, Sydney.
Dear Pam: Both the tortilla soup and the cabbage recipe look wonderful. The cabbage recipe video is especially well done. Thank you!
As a pastel summer, brown is very challenging. The brown in my pallet is a rose brown which is hard to find. Actually, I have never seen it. If you do see it, I’d love to have a look.
Hope things are going well in the move in. Exhausting but new beginnings are also exhilarating often. Hope so.
I do not think I have seen rose brown…but now I am on a mission to see if I can find it somewhere. So, often our best colors are challenging…like my kingfisher blue…but it feels so great when we find it!
Thanks Mary.
Hmmmmm…… pumpkin fudge sounds very yummy. Also the soup recipes look delicious and comforting even though it is spring here. I hope your new kitchen will be as loved as your previous kitchen and that you make it work for you.Does Mr B cook at all? I am lucky as my husband loves cooking and is more experimental than me, as I love following recipes.
Hi Julie, in the past three months, Mr. B is showing more interest in cooking, but for the most part, I am the cook! Have a happy Spring!
I’ve already made the Sweet Potato Turkey Chili….easy and delicious! I made mine on top of the stove. You/I must have received Sally’s blog and thought the same thing about the chili….halved the recipe since I’m cooking for two…next time I’ll stick with the full recipe since there are delicious leftovers.
Thanks for sharing, Margi! Love to hear back on the recipes!
