I was encouraged to explain more about my SHOPPING LINKS page and how to use it.

I am an affiliate for many different brands and when you click on those brands and shop, then I receive a small commission.

This is such an important income for me and my family.

I have tried to include the brands most shopped by this audience, but sometimes I miss one of your favorites.

If you will tell me what you are shopping, then I can tell you if I am affiliate for them and give you that link…if it is not already on the page.

  1. I adore Scandi style, and the Stockholm video was very close to what I saw in Norway. I just wish these women wore jewelry! Their style does seem to hit a sweet spot I’m trying to achieve with my own looks, casual but still thoughtful and polished. The lentil soup recipe is a version I make often, and we love it. Lentils are one of my favorite go-to staples.

  2. Pam, thanks for the great collection. I like the centerpiece article. It’s good to have some new ideas, and I always look for low centerpieces so that people can see each other across the table.

  3. I also liked the centerpiece article Gave me some ideas. I need to sub faux greenery indoor due to mischievous midnight cats but craft stores have some really good quality faux greenery. The French Onion Chicken casserole sounds like perfect winter comfort food. I may tinker with the recipe to make it healthier. I also enjoyed the video. My observations: most of the people dressed in neutral shades; I saw very little color. Almost everyone was wearing sensible shoes for walking and not a lot of sneakers. Not as many people staring at their cell phone as compared to some of the other videos from France and Italy which I found interesting. And I saw jackets similar to the reversible faux shearing jacket I just purchased from J Jill. Actually the one you see before you start the video is almost identical except for the addition of the patch pockets. Happy Wednesday.

  4. I have that recipe on my list to try, Kathie. If you make it soon, let us know what you think!

  5. The Ackerman Heritage House Restoration was beautifully done. What fun to have tea there. I enjoyed the Christian Soriano article sorry about the spelling. I have my eyes dilated from an eye appointment. Makes writing a challenge. I loved the Stockholm video as that is exactly like I dress. I’m of Swedish decent and prefer simple casual clothes. I rarely wear jewelry but put on some hoop earrings for my appointment. My winter puffer coat is knee length, navy with light grey faux fur trim on the hood. I wear flares and trouser cut jeans from Chicos so I would fit in on that street. Fun reads today, thank you Pam!
