Spring Petite Finds at JC Penney Try-On
Happy Monday, ladies…and it is a really Happy Monday as Leigh Ann returns to do at Spring Petite Finds at JC Penney Try-On.
I knew that many in this audience are looking for spring petite finds and many of you like to shop at JC Penney.
So, rather than publish a full Leigh & Me shopping experience, we are here to show you the spring petite finds at JC Penney.
Before you ask, let me remind. you that Leigh Ann is 5’3″, but feels like she is now closer to 5’2.”

I apologize that I cannot link to them because they look so food with the outfits we tried on.
We located some of these styles in the PETITE department, and some are small misses sizes…but I will tell you what they are.
You can see that Leigh Ann liked one of the looks so much, that she decided to purchase and take home one of the petite finds at JC Penney.
So we will begin there for this special try-on….now once again join with a shopping experience with Leigh (and me!).
SPRING PETITE FINDS AT JC PENNEY TRY-ON: LEIGH ANN’S FAVORITE
Leigh Ann loved the fit and casual spring style of this outfit and knew she would get much wear out of the pieces.
Her petite finds at JC Penney needed to work for casual and for several different climates…she is all over the U.S. during warmer weather.
She purchased the pants for the fit…said it was a great fit.
She is wearing the size 6P in these ST. JOHN’S BAY WOMENS MID RISE CAPRI PANTS in the Lt. Hampton Wash.
These capris in the petite finds at JC Penney come in 8 Colors and also in sizes for Misses, Petites and Plus.
Her top is a perfect match for several bottoms in her current wardrobe.
It is the ST. JOHN’S BAY WOMENS SPLIT CREW NECK SHORT SLEEVE BLOUSE in the Papaya Punch Daisy print…comes in 7 prints.

SPRING PETITE FINDS AT JC PENNEY TRY-ON: HER RECOMMENDED FINDS
We were not certain what we would find in a smaller store, but were very pleased to discover petite finds at JC Penney and still a separate petite department.
Though small, it had good finds inside of it that Leigh Ann recommends.
However, we ventured into the other departments, so these outfits do include a mix.
This top, for example, was found in the St. John’s Bay area.
It is the ST. JOHN’S BAY WOMENS BOAT NECK ELBOW SLEEVE BLOUSE in the American Navy Stripe…it comes in 16 different colors or prints.
Now, online you can click Petite and order it in Petite. Leigh Ann is wearing the Medium. If she orders, it will be a Petite Medium that she would want.
She paired it with the ST. JOHN’S BAY WOMENS MID RISE SECRETLY SLENDER SKINNY FIT JEANS in white and she is wearing a size 8P.
These come in siz selections though the Cascade Green is sold out. They are still available in Misses and Plus size…but you can tell these are selling fast.
This great denim jacket does not come in petites but Leigh Ann liked the fit of the Small.
Both of us agreed that the design of the jacket in front and back is a very slimming style.
This is the LIZ CLAIBORNE DENIM JACKET in a Royal Wash…but it is available in other washes.
The light blue Amalfi Wash does come in Petites and is marked down. The white is still available in some petites sizes.
The petite finds at JC Penney included beautiful colors for spring and summer.
This bold blue is awesome.
It is the LIZ CLAIBORNE WOMENS V-NECK SHORT SLEEVE TEE SHIRT in bold blue…and it comes in 14 colors!
She is wearing size Medium in a misses.
These ST. JOHN’S BAY WOMENS MID RISE CAPRI PANTS in the Biscotti color are perfect for the petite finds at JC Penney.
They come in seven excellent color selections, and Leigh Ann is wearing 6P.
She liked these with the LIZ CLAIBORNE WOMENS V-NECK SHORT SLEEVE BLOUSE in white cotton/linen blend.

Leigh Ann liked these Liz Claiborne shorts and really liked the color.
These are the LIZ CLAIBORNE AMBER WOMENS PULL ON SHORTS in Leprechaun….comes in six colors.
She is wearing a size 6 in the shorts and liked the fit.
The top is a “generous fit” in the LIZ CLAIBORNE WOMENS V NECK SHORT SLEEVE BLOUSE in the flores wash…comes in six options.
She is wearing a 6 and felt the fit to be large.
That is why we do these try-on sessions…righ?

I wash taken with the white shirt above on Leigh Ann so much that I decided to try it on in the green.

Thanks to you both for this post. As a petite I have really missed Leigh Ann both for the sizing and her style. I see comfortable, casual as her style adjectives. Does she have any others? I have tried and tried but don’t seem to be able to find five for myself. If I had a J.C. Penny close I’d be heading out to buy a number of pieces highlighted today.
Yes! Leigh Ann communicates that she is casual, carefree, adventurous, and current. I plan to write more about style adjectives next week!
Leigh Ann looks great in all the things she tried. I’m happy to see so many of them in a wide range of sizes & colors. Her shoes are super cute, but I understand about you not being able to link to them. TJMaxx is one of those stores where you have to go in with an open mind because no two stores are alike, & you never know what you might find.
Exactly, Becky! You do never know what might be at one store and not at another…but her shoes went perfect with the outfits we tried on.
So much fun to see you and Leigh Ann shopping together again! You’ve got me shopping at JCP again, and there are some good deals to be had right now. I found that very few of my autumn colors are on the racks right now, but I bought some black jeggings for next winter and a cute pair of striped linen shorts in my best summer colors. That green top is so flattering – hope it finds its way into your closet soon!
Love seeing Leigh Ann! I bought six tops that she wore in different color except the navy with white strips. I bought that one and the same in pale blue and spring pink! I went a little crazy when I saw the prices! I replaced so many of my tired tops. I’m 5’1” now but 20 years ago I also was 5’3”! She is a little thinner than me but we still look similar in our casual clothes. She looks great! Has she had color analysis? She looks good in the peach top which I could never wear. You look great in the green top too! You are really catching on to your spring colors. I watch the color analysis and also a couple of others linked to hers. I can see that the draping is very important. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive and so far away up in Colorado Springs.
I did go ahead and order it…for $22, the cost per wear will be super low! We had fun and are happy to let everyone know the benefits of JCP shopping.
