  1. Right off the bat, I’m the coastal grandma. I’ve never heard of this concept before though. Definitely rolling my eyes at the millennial parenting. Wow. Anyway… interesting about the queen and her diet. That’s a lot of eating for one day, so she must use portion control! On the other hand, my mother barely eats, drinks about half a cup of soda per day and nothing else and is 97 this week. Which brings me to the cognitive decline article. I’m always interested in those. Again, there were exceptions in my family as my dad was highly educated, always worked and was physically very active with being a marathon runner and diehard cyclist and he had dementia early on. It’s good to do the behaviors that might prevent it, but I’ve seen too much of this is too many family members who didn’t fit the dementia profile. I guess there are always going to be exceptions to every rule, but mental decline really scares me. The fitness habits article is interesting. I’m going to go back and reread the fun articles because I got bogged down today on the mental decline!!
